Definitely keep making these affordable plane videos. These are helping me a lot on getting cheaper prices in an aviation world where spending a couple million on a 5 seater plane is normal. Please keep making these videos they are greatly appreciated!
7:06 YO, THAT OUR PLANE! G-AZLV was acquired by our flight school a few months back, and I did not expect to see her here! what a freaky little coincidence
It's a good idea to check with mechanics on the field to see if there is a history of a prop strike, they can bend the crankshaft in the engine, and check with more than the mechanic that works on the seller's aircraft if possible.
I have owned six used airplanes corrosion is the biggest issue if you’re going to buy one that doesn’t look real good if the corrosion is low you have some thing to work with otherwise forget the airplane
Prices will come down if the airlines once again treat people like passengers and not like prisoners. There is a reason the private jet airlines are operating at max capacity, no one who can afford it is willing to fly on the airlines anymore. For me, I spent right at $100,000 for a 1973 Piper Arrow II. New engine, rebuilt brakes, gear, prop. Now it is going in for $30,000 in new radios/GPS/electronic instruments and $5,000 in seats and wall coverings. And $1,000 in speed mods. Total price, way too much.
I would be surprised if used prices fell much. I've noticed that people tend not to like selling their planes for less than they paid for them. Most folks will just hang onto a plane if it doesn't get asking price.
It's absurd how much the used plane market has jumped. Bought my 1964 M20C in 2017 for 40k on the nose, but now they sell for 80+ on the regular.... wtf?

Inflation. Nice that it works for you
need same but for twins. Yes I know they generally much more expensive, but still need list of affordable twins.
Air-Coo-Pay!!! Never knew the proper pronoun-See-Ah-Shun.
“Er” rhymes with fur and “coupe” rhymes with soup. At least that is the way Fred Weick pronounced it in a video that’s out there.
I found a Cessna 150 for 4000
Where?
Bad student landing? More like student in training
