    You are the man Bill. I can watch your videos 100 times.
    Just bought a 67 my self. In mint condition 3rd owner little to know rust. Some one recommended me to install frame connectors. And get it up to date. This brake system will definitely get it up to date. Thanks again all of you guys behind the Camara and the computer making our installations super easy and convenient.

  • @bobbyhamilton4566
    @bobbyhamilton4566 3 роки тому +1

    2 questions. Y would u convert from 4 wheel drum brakes 2 4 wheel disc brakes without using a brake power booster? Good luck stopping the mustang with the increased pedal pressure required.
    Secondly, that was some really poor workmanship with that rear steel brake line. How hard would it b 2 either cut or fab new 3/16" steel lines and a couple double flares.

    I have seen another video installing a Wilwood kit on a Mustang where in the comments he was bawled out for using thread sealer where the 90 degree taper fitting inserts into the caliper. They insisted he use Teflon and implied that he was an idiot for using thread sealer on an NPT taper fitting. Can anyone give a definitive answer to this?

      No power booster needed. Use a one inch master and your mustangs proportioning valve adjustested right. It will stop great. Plus if your can does stall out for some reason. Your brakes still work 100%

    • @iPLAYMinecraft123456

      yeah you need a 10 psi residual valve to the rear drums to hold pressure there at all times.

  • @classics289
    @classics289 3 роки тому +2

    Massive fail on Wilwoods part. The rotor bolts on the back side of the hub. So you still have to take the bearings all apart every time you need to change or machine the rotor. Also, I wonder if you can use a stock looking master cylinder with the same bore size and have the system work just as well. I wouldn't want such an ugly master cylinder under my hood, plus needing tools to open/ check fluid level is also a terrible idea. Just some constructive criticism.

    • @CrazyGuyBlahBlah
      @CrazyGuyBlahBlah Рік тому

      You probably should be re-greasing/re-backing bearings anyway if you're having to machine the rotor. Also, the fluid level can/should be done with a remote reservoir allowing the master cylinder to stay shut once bled.
