Is there a way to call him into action and free up the other guy who is active to go guard his guy? So basically automatically changing to whoever is supposed to guard the person who has the ball? Does that make sense?

There’s nothing you can do if you’re behind their hip and they have slithery and limitless. You have to be bumping them to interrupt their launch animation- it’s the only hope. But you really can’t stop high attribute slashers w gold and HOF finishing this year. Unless your bug comes to help or you switch over to put him in position in team play online game modes.
