I don't know why I think this is the most original and heartbreaking scenes ever. The fact that Grant suffered from anxiety may have made it a little better..... He is talking about something we all go through at some point.... True Hero

You know, Cecile can be a good character if she just stops talking about other people's feelings to the audience. Here she deals with the situation really well. She knows exactly what Barry feels, doesn't need to say it out loud and tries to just calm Barry down and let him put away what he's feeling. THAT is how you write people who can feel emotions of others. You make them subtle and empathetic.
Cecile, the supportive character who is mature and helps Barry and the team cope with their emotions is a nice character. Cecile, the empath who constantly tells people what they are feeling and constantly overacts when overwhelmed with emotions, is very annoying. Its a pity that they default to the latter so often during the show.
I know this was a filler episode, but the actors really carried. Especially Singh’s and Joe’s scene.

I want grant in some heavy duty movies. He's a really good actor and can rock emotional scenes

They overlooked him to play The Flash in the movie the first time. The good news, is that rebooting a character without changing the whole universe is not unprecedented. It’s a shame Ezra Miller are such terrible people, but Grant is The Flash we can believe in.

I'm with your dad in this one. I don't understand why you cryin either and I've watched every season 15 different times both arrow and flash and black lighting that is. Everyone else I didn't care about unless it was a crossover. It wasn't that sad because you know they have to end the season and season nine coming so they wouldn't make him lose him memories of everyone he cares about and how would nora have been in the last episode or have a wife. I'm jus ready to see how it ends completely.

@@jaidenroberts05easily could have made it better if it wasn’t about “team flash” and it actually had more to do with flash being flash solving and doing things on his own instead of relying on 50 ppl every ep cuz thats not what the flash is, not to mention how often a new speedster gets introduced and how dumb they make Barry and how useless some other characters are and are just there

@@jaidenroberts05 he was at least running solo and can handle most things on his own, arrow didn’t have nearly as many metas as flash and when they did they were at least unique, we lost that in flash a long time ago and the writing on the flash just gives more focus to the other characters rather than Barry

It was a decent scene. It would've been so much better, and more authentic if it would've been between him and Joe.
It building there relationships like him and Joe like how he is a father figure too Barry and trying to make to were she like a mother figure too him now
it would be more authentic if there was actually any mention of Barry connecting with Cecile aside from saving lives through the sage force. Cecile just feels like another Speed force mom who intervenes when Barry is acting out or needs a power boost. Barry is completely uninvolved with the baby she had with Joe. we don't need it in screen time. big flop in today's television is time transitions don't include any mention of time spent among team members because they don't decide that it should have happened until that episode.
Honestly, scenes like this with Joe have been done to death, and Cecile is quite alright in this scene. She reciprocates the emotions portrayed by Barry, in turn strengthening the emotional response intended from audiences, as she acts as a reflection to what we should be feeling during the scene, without announcing it ,as she always does. This episode was directed beautifully, from start to end.

Well Joe was busy moping around, Iris disappeared god knows where and caitlin was playing with the Lazare concept on her frosty Sister so there was only Cécile i guess

Do you know this to be fact or are you just assuming because YOU think Iris is annoying? And in what world do you think Barry does not need Iris for the show to work? They are a married couple and their strength comes from each other in case you have failed to notice over the past eight seasons. I have not read the comics but if Barry moved on it was because he knew she would have wanted him to so let us not pretend as if Iris does not matter here.
