I just got back from a beach vacation a few weeks ago (it’s winter here but I was in Mexico). I definitely had some hair challenges while away so I appreciate this video looking ahead.
Personally I really like to leave my hair in a protective style (like a long braid). But this was really helpful; I'll be visiting my boyfriend soon (who's an Australian man). So, I'll need to get good at curl care at the beach.
Function of Beauty is a US company so if they sell and ship to Jayme in Australia I expect they would ship to France too. As for the other products with Australian website links they may do international orders, I'm Australian too and have noticed some Australian curly girl product websites do ship internationally. If not you could probably find them via global websites like Amazon or one of the many US or UK retail websites that sell internationally if you can manage to use websites in English. Hey Mel, hope you see this but I have a question, so my hair was like coily when I was younger like a 4a-4b type. So then as I grew my hair was super heat damaged and dry. I finally started taking care of my curls and they’re more of a 3a-3b type, is there anyway I can make it coily again?
Can I use living proof cream 5 in 1styles for before and after I swim at beach or can I use any conditioner? And my hair I’d beige blonde and straight tho
Normally I only wash twice a week but i just neeed to get sand and gunk from the beach out of my hair! Its not too harsh for me at all but you can always try a cowash instead for something gentler!

I just add organic coconut oil to my hair before I go for a swim. My hair is super easy to detangle and doesn't get dried out

i personally don't have 4a-4b hair but maybe it just needs to grow out, or maybe its just stuck as 3a-3b
after applying the cream and detangling on the beach, do you avoid going back into the water?
Nope! It makes its super silky in the water and afterwards x

Wait jayme does the shampoo and conditioner dry out ur hair? Ur using them everyday which can be pretty harsh
