See I just can't justify spending so much money on makeup (ANY item of makeup) when we can get GOOD knock off brands for WAY less! It really irritates me because I am a Mom and a wife and I have to budget my money and I don't have $50-$60 and higher to spend on makeup BUT I love it just as much as the next sparkling girly girl! ☺️🤷♀️ Thanks for this video Angela, you killed it as always ❣️

I've never been in to dupes. I feel like brands should not take someone else's work and profit from it. It just feels lazy. If someone copied something I had done, I would not be happy. That being said, they did do a great job. In the beginning I couldn't even guess which eye was which. 😅😂 And I do think it's good to have options in every price range. I definitely want to try Alter Ego but I'm waiting until they put out an "inspired by" palette, and not straight stealing the color story. 😂
The huda one is in boxycharm for November, it will be avail on the resale market by mid month most likely. I tried to talk myself into gifting it, but it's too pretty & I've been impressed by the huda formula.
The only problem is alter ego waits too long. I buy the big brands because they are out there. I always buy alter ego if I don't have the name brand. Have many palettes from them. Great quality
I think this is a more respectful way to dupe. They’re not really taking sales away from the original creators, they’re expanding the offering to people who weren’t able/willing to buy the high end version. The ones who are, already have the original.
Do any Alter Ego buyers out there find that they expire quickly?? I just threw out my palette from 11 months ago because it’s stinking! And i have other palettes that I use more often that are a year or even 2 years older, and they are fine?

Try Morphe eyeshadow. Very cheap and works well. Many nice diff sized palettes.
