I have one Alter Ego pallet which I had shipped over to Scotland and I love it. The Sakura one is a dream to use. If shipping and tax was not so expensive I've have more from AE as they dupe so well. This one u used looks absolutely perfect and I love the colours, especially coming into spring. That eye look is beautiful on you. Green is great on you. I'm still a little nervous to wear bolder colours because of my hooded eyes but I will get there. I'm already starting to add a pop of colour under my lash line now. I appreciate dupe palettes because they make certain color stories affordable. That said, I usually don’t end up loving Alter Ego palettes. I’ll often buy them to see if the color story is one I will actually use. If I find that I really love and use the color story, I’ll wait for a sale to get the original ND palette. I love the ND formula and their shimmers are usually stunning.
I totally agree with you. I commend how closely they came to a dupe here for the price but I still saw the difference. ND palettes are superb and I'll hit up a sale if need be. If that makes me a makeup snob then I guess I'll go but some Grey Poupon after I pick up a new ND palette. 😂 Kudos to Alter Ego though. Awesome dupe! 👏
I'm eagerly awaiting the arrival of this palette. You did the 2 things I've been wanting to see and no one else has done it. Side by side comparison swatches and you used the mustards! The mustards are the whole reason I bought this palette. Why are mustards so hard to find right now?!
When I first looked at Yucca, I thought this palette is exactly like a bruise. I think that’s why I love it now. All of the colours of a bruise are all the shadows that show well against skin. Does this make sense? Anyway, the mustards are day five to day ten in the evolution of a bruise 😂
@catherinelynnfraser2001 I guess bruise tones are natural. I think I've realized my skin is yellow toned. Stranglely I still like a lot of cool tones better on me but I love mustard and mauve.
I agree! I watched a dupe video earlier today and the woman used two browns and a champagne shimmer on the lid lol. Like huh? We can see those looks all day long on UA-cam. I want to see the mustards and the greens! That’s annoying

Wow your makeup turned out SO GOOD! I love that eyeshadow look! Now I’m definitely getting that Alter Ego palette. Their shimmers have been so good lately! I have their Shadow Kiss palette, and the Coastal palette and the shimmers are so much better in Coastal. They must be improving their shimmer formula because it’s so silky and buttery now. I have to get that palette! Thank you for the review 😊

Now I can get the colors I want without spending a high amt for it. Thrilled! I'd never heard of Alter Ego before 😏.
