Why did she put it on the dark roots? Like you said, a toner has no lift.
The end result was nice, but not evenly. How can I prevent that? I would use a pre pigmentation, but you said, it's not necessary.
It has no lift. So how the pigment show is different on what color the hair has before this. The model had some highlights prior. So the color will not be even. The highlighted area will be lighter and non highlighted area will be darker.
Hi, I'm a natural level 4 & don't have much of white hair but enough to start putting some pigment. My hair is virgen "no color." Can I use it just to color my gray hair?

It won’t color gray hair. It gives the hint of color on gray. I normally color my roots every 3 weeks because I am natural level 3 and color with level 4. So the new growth is visible and make me look like I have no hair at the root due to the white growth. I just used the ash brown mat color at week 3. It blends in the gray/white. I will see how long it last, not the gray camouflage but the shine and softness that it gives to hair.

Color won’t lift color unfortunately so you will have to bleach.
