    I have loved demo of buildings since I was a kid. My dad and I used to go and watch it all the time. Then I’d come home and build the same building out of paper and take and tear it down with scissors the same way lol. Keep these videos with your narration. Your all American boy accent is very cool.

    The biggest hazard in a tight spot like this, is those power lines. Getting tangled up in those high voltage lines would ruin your day for sure.

    Just found this page and have watched a few. This may have been asked before but why don't you show a shot of the lot after it's cleaned up before you leave? All the videos I've seen so far end with a big pile of junk on the ground and the video ends there. It would be nice to see the completed job.

    I'm still amazed I watched a whole demolition in under 30 minutes. Here in Germany it would have taken at least a full working day for this kind of house, maybe even two. It's also impressive you do all of this with just a bucket, here you'd neet at least a grab, maybe even two different ones plus a bucket. And I've never seen this half-grab on a bucket here as well. In Germany demolitions are boring tho, five minutes of wrecking and then half an hour of sorting the stuff into 5 different containers and people climbing over the wreckage searching for different materials... you just DESTROY it;)
    Merry Christmas and a happy new Year my friend!

    • @bobber55
      @bobber55 Місяць тому

      The "half-grab" as you call it is a hydraulic thumb. Without one you lose half the potential of the excavator.

      @ Yes, you’re right. There was a dentist office in my small hometown and a fellow bought after it sat empty for a few years. On the day he took possession he went down to the water department and paid to initiate service. Well, some of those bad people had gone to work on the copper lines and left an open pipe coming into the building. Wound up drenching the whole inside of the building. Cost the buyer a lot of money.
      Tweakers get a pittance for their efforts snd cost someone a hundred times as much.
