- Enjoy this slightly longer video about baby #budgies. It all started when Shakira suddenly decided to lay an egg inside the drawer. I was sad and did not want to throw the eggs so after 20 days the first #chicks hatched. It's a miracle that two came out in one day. As the days went by, Kira started eating their feathers so I had to separate them with Benjii - their father. The next day, their feathers grew immediately because there was not their mother to eat their feathers. A couple of days later, Benji suddenly left us 😟 He had a stroke, and the little babies exhausted him. He couldn't take all that worry. He didn't have time for himself. Then I take the chickens and start #handfeeding them. I wish I did that before, I'm really sorry because they have grown up without both parents. Benji, rest in peace. 💔

I'm not an expert with birds, but if he was going to take one parent away, shouldn't he help the other? I found a chick left by the parents and my bird adopted it so I've been helping them raise it. Isn't that the standard or should I leave the bird to care for the chicks alone?

@@dennythebudgie since Benji is smaller than the others and he was by himself feeding, poor baby exhausted himself. I didn’t even know that could happen since you have so many birds. I thought the others would step up or something. Well now we know, there has to be two “birds” when feeding the chicks. So when you have to separate the mother or the father, you also need to feed the chicks too sometimes just in case. You take very good care of your babies and it hurts me to see them get hurt because I know that you care for every single one of them equally. There’s not many like you.

@@dennythebudgie My two female budgies keep on fighting and they push eachother of the perches im really scared that they are going to get hurt. HOPEFULLY i am getting a bigger cage x3 and getting two more budgies. Is there anything else i could do?

@@sushi_. put your budgie's cage near where you do daily activity like ur bedroom or living room interact,feed them. and they can tamed by the time!

My neighbours think, I'm gone mad and must go to hospital. When I look videos here of birdy-babies, I speak with them , realy loud. I have got 6 adult ones myself, good life to all of them.

Budgies are some of the cutest birds
Such loving and caring parents. I had parakeets and all they didn't even care for their babies. I just love to watch how they care for them so much. I love how he takes care of these birds like humans, people need to treat animals just like that!
