My lovebird's baby is still on its 13th day, we can't tell its exact colors yet but we have a slight suspicion it might be a yellow peachfaced lovebird!!!
My lovebirds hatched 1 egg and then hatched 4 after 12 days of that. So we abandoned the first egg and kept the 4 in the nest. It was also my lovebirds for time laying eggs. Then from those only 1 Al egg hatched after 23 days and then we waiting until 34 days for the rest and they didn’t hatch so we decided to take them out of the nest. Now that only 1 chick is now 24 days and looks exactly like that blue chick in your video. Good to see it, also can I get some tips since it is my first time keeping lovebirds. ❤
@@hashirkhan2341 Hi. It's nice to hear it. You don't have to worry. Let the parents learn how to keep the baby and experience. It's the first chick and they are learning. You should feed the parents well. Also probiotics and medicine in their water.
Question please somebody help me... my parent lovebirds were plucking our their 2 four week old chicks so I pulled them from the nest. The parents didn't care. I left the last chick whose only 1 week old in the nest but noticed it shivering and unattended so I put it with the other 2 chicks. Ever since I pulled the last chick the parents are mad and keep flying back to where they saw me have their brooder. I showed the parents their safe babies but then the parents started fighting with each other! I've since been hiding the chicks in my room . The birds are smart. They know somethings up. What do I do!??? Do I put all 3 babies back? Just one? Or do I put them in a cage beside the parents? Please help.
Thankyou for your reply. I appreciate it. I will keep them away & safe. Will I be able to put them beside their parents in a different cage eventually? I don't know how to ease the parents

Hi! I have a question. I just got a 3-4 week old baby love bird. It has a good appetite but otherwise not active, always wants to snuggle on my shoulder and sleep throughout the day. Is it normal?
@@razraavi Thank you for the reply! I love had birds before but adults not babies,so I wasn’t sure about the behavior. I have one more question tho. Should I only feed him when he’s hungry and willingly takes formula or follow the schedule and force feed?
That sounds normal to me. As long as they have good appetite & pooping, he's just bonding & loving on you, feeling warm & safe 💕 that's where my birds love to cuddle
@elyakuzya6249 once their gullet looks full they are full & won't be eating as eagerly. You'll notice under their throat will fill up like a little balloon or nothing there when empty
I think my peachfaced lovebird first time laid 5 eggs out of which 2 were unfertile. .. only 3 eggs hatched.. We removed the babies after 7 days to handfeed them so they can be tamed. But the youngest died at 15 days..Its crop and vent are were red and swollen. .we kept the remaining babies back to its mother… after few days we noticed the parents were not feeding the middle baby and was feeding only the eldest one..He was hungry for a whole day.. so we decided to handfeed it.. But we noticed it also developed swelling in vent area.. Its dropping was also reduced..we tried a lot but it died the other day😢.. i dont wanna lose the babies from the next clutch this way.. can someone guide me what could be the reason and how to treat it.. please😢
@@uroojpathan8988 When the mother does not feed , it means that she knows that it will not survive. For the first time, it is normal for only one baby to survive. Parents are learning. It is better to let the mother feed the children for 40 days and then feed them yourself.
