Thank you so much!! I was able to follow along with you and make a sheet of stickers the very first try. That NEVER happens!!! It worked just like you showed and I got a much needed confidence boost.
After watching so many tutorials on making sticker sheets. I'm so grateful I found your video. You Explained everything clearly and in sync with steps. My favorite part was layering up the backing image to get the cricut to cut it multiple times, and using attach vs flatten and not to use weld as all. Really well done.
I’ve had my cricut for three weeks and i now realize I’ve been doing it wrong and that I don’t have to struggle as much with my stickers 😫 thanks a lot!! this is sooo helpful!
I tried your tips yesterday. They worked just as you said. They were the best stickers I ever printed on my Cricut. In fact I was almost ready to give up on using my Cricut to make stickers. I subscribed to your channel an will keep watching for more tips, etc. I look forward to going through your playlists, too.
OMG! I finally did it! I finally understand what to do! Void my last comment! Thank you so much for sharing and I am now a new subscriber! Thank you so much! I thanked God for you!
Excellent video! You’re a great teacher 😊👍🏽☺️ My fav part is showing how to use the most amount of space on your paper 👍🏽 Also I didn’t know you could do more than one type of cut in one project 😱 Game-changer!!!
Thank you so much for showing how to cut the shape out. My machine kept cutting the inside letters instead of just the outside shape. Very much appreciate you
This is so helpful! I’ve been struggling with my kiss cut sheets as they’re not cutting through enough.. I didn’t realise you could set a custom blade pressure.. I’ll definitely try that! ❤
@@cynthiaring9330 I'm happy you found it helpful like me too. Hope you were able to try and make some sticker sheets as well. For sure I was able to make some after watching this helpful video :)
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I use canva to edit/creat because I love the font for my logo name or name of stickers theme and then add my own images and save as png there and do the whole add the offset/outline there then i uploaded them to cricut design space all by following and writing down your instructions how you did it and finally made my kiss cut planner stickers tonight! I have been watching videos trying to learn how to do this to add to my shop and I am so glad I found your channel thank you!!!!Such a lifesaver yours was quick and to the moment that I could pause and write down your information thanks!
Hello when you made your backing did you group or flatten it all together. Not sure but my backing is only cutting out once and I duplicated the backing 5 times. I’m just having trouble cutting the backing out.
So far I haven’t had any issues with my cricut. If it helps I find calibrating the machine twice made really precise cuts! Also side note I do have the cricut maker 2 as well so perhaps that plays into having decent cuts. But on top of all that I find plugging the machine in works much better. I was on the fence about keeping it because the silhouette seems to be much better in terms of functions but I think I’ll keep the cricut for die cut stickers and eventually get a silhouette cameo 5 for sticker sheets……
I have one machine that cuts beautifully, and one that isn't as great. They are the same models and I've calibrated both the same, multiple times. It's so funny how machines can be so slightly different. I want to play around with my Silhouette more now that I have more experience and see if I like it any better than before. :)
I guess not every Cricut is created equally I did hear that silhouette has better sensors I definitely wished I had gone with silhouette just because I can do two different cut settings instead of the hack you have to do with Cricut…..
Awesome detailed video. Thank you for that. I'm wondering should I be nervous having the Cricut cut around the sheet 5 times?! How can you be sure that it will not be cutting too deep and cutting up the mat?!
Thanks! Glad you found it helpful! 😊 The mat will get cut up slightly with use, that is what the mat is designed for. However, my mats still last a very long time. You can choose not to cut the background out that many times, and just cut it by hand if you don't want to risk it cutting your mat too deep.
Hi! Thank you for your video. I have a question. I made sticker sheets like you did in your tutorial. But some how my maker cuts the sheet it self but not the stickers on the sheet. (I followed the Steps one by one) i hope you can help me.
How did you make the template that says Holiday vibe tags? I have tried so many different ways in inkscape and they just dont load into Cricut right or show up blank.. ?? Thank you
I used Procreate with a transparent bacckground and saved as a PNG file. The important part is a transparent background will only work with a PNG file (unless you have other software like Adobe). It can't be a jpg or gif.
Great video thank you, I have created a sticker sheet and backing in Procreate for my diary, do all the stickers needs a white cut line ? I have made a sheet with birthdays, balloons and presents do they all need a cut line?
Yes it is, I actually have a shorts video I uploaded on my channel showing how to use the app on the iPad. You can find that video here: ua-cam.com/video/g8gPAp1C5Dk/v-deo.html
I really like the Online Labels Weatherproof Matte with a Vinyl Laminate for water resistant, or Online Labels Standard White Matte for non water resistant.
Very helpful! One thing I can't understand though...! Why do some videos show putting an overlay of black to help the Cricut know where to cut, but many don't (like yours). I did my first print today of some words , and I was expecting it to cut around the words in the general shape of the design, but it was cutting around every single pen stroke (i.e. SOOO precisely around each letter). Help :/!
It depends on the artwork and if you are using the iPad or a computer. If you want to cut around words, you need to make sure you have some type of background or offset, flatten the image, and then make sure to set it as print then cut. Hopefully that helps, and sorry for the late reply! 😅
You're welcome! 😊 The background layer isn't necessary, just makes it look nice. Not sure what you mean by cutting from exact lines. Typically a solid shape works best when making a sticker.
Very helpful but I am having problems with the 5 background attach, when I hit shift and select all 5 of them then hit attach it does nothing. What do I do. Also on the second page when I put it on the background page it shrinks my actual images, so when it prints they are so much smaller then my original dimensions, why does it do that?
Are you on a PC or a Mac and what version of Cricut Design Space do you have? About the shrinking, I'm not sure how to help unless I see it. Can you not resize them before attaching them to the background?
Hi!! How do you make the background sheet with the header? Id like to make my kids stickers with each of their names on the header. Most people's sticker backing paper tutorials is with procreate. I dont have that. If you could pretty please make a tutorial for that, ill subscribe to you 😊😊
Sorry for the late reply! You can totally use Canva to make your background for free. I typically use Photoshop or Illlustrator. But Canva is pretty easy to use. I'll try to make a tutorial for that soon! 😊

I had someone comment on my TikTok how they did it, but I can't remember off the top of my head. I'll try to take a look and see what they did.

Are you using the desktop version of Design Space, or are you using the ipad version?
Thanks!! Would it be a good technique for making children re-stickable (many times...) stickers?
That would depend on the material you print on, but the technique of cutting would be the same if you made a sticker sheet. 😊

It depends on the application and style you are going for. But I do recommend having a cut line (offset) of some type for your stickers to cut nicely.

@@3milelaneco Thanks
How do you stop it from cutting your label at top
The label at the top is part of my flat background layer. That’s why I use two separate layers. One for the background and one for the cut stickers.
