@@MyAussieGardenKitchen I'm surprised you grow mostly common fruit. If I lived there I'd have mostly rare fruit trees planted of fruit not readily available in the grocery stores. Maybe you get a lot colder in your area though and can't grow frost tender fruit trees 🤔

@@VirginiaFruitGrower You bring up a great point and that was actually in my lost footage...
I only grow what the family will eat.
So I will only spend my money, time and resources on stuff that we can eat fresh, cook and store.
As much as I would like to have some more exotic stuff, I know that nobody will touch it, so no point when I can have something we can all benefit from.
Same with vegies. I only grow what we eat. 👍
Some things like bananas, would be popular here, but they struggle to grow in this location.

Hi Daz great video, I know exactly what you mean about the rewarding feeling of growing stuff. My best tree has been an apple tree which I grew in a 45 gallon drum but transferred it to my friend allotment where it is flourishing : ) Funny I should watch this because I was waiting for my dad today at the super market and noticed an absolutely massive series of grape vines going all the way up the multi story car park!
Take care Daz and stay happy with all the nature of your garden.
