    I had a loquat, lemon, orange tree an my neighbor had an avocado tree. I grew up in long beach near signal hill an let me tell u, I miss that house so much now that I'm an adult 😩☹️

    I have stone fruit trees that fruit heavily every year, even more so than my citrus. People think you have to be in cold climates to grow them but there are some great low chill varieties. I’m in the inland empire so my chill is about 100-200 hours better than LA or SD.

      Very true! I am in a subtropical climate and have several low-chill stone fruit trees growing. My apricot is the only one reluctant to set fruit. - Fern
