I love that you are honest in your reactions to the Advent calendar. My local sewing store was selling them this year. I was going to treat myself, but after reading the back of the box, I realized I already owned most of what was in the box. I'm enjoying Angela's gifts to you more. It's giving me ideas to make something similar for my friend for next year. If I'm organized,😂, I can buy a gift each month in 2024, and make the gifts as the 12 days of Christmas.
Thanks Jennett, I can’t help but be honest lol, but I do worry sometimes I’ll hurt someone’s feelings as I know how much work goes into preparing an advent calendar. But I have to say I do prefer Andreas previous versions. It’s good fun to create your own though, I did one for myself last year and you soon forget what you’ve bought. Equally nice to do one with a friend like myself and Angela have. When I had the Hemline advent last year, it duplicated a lot of what I already had so I did give a lot of it away xx

Hi Sally, thank you, yeah i'm pleased we're having a small break now - need to recharge the batteries lol. Had a lovely, but busy day today, still not feeling 100%, but i'm sure i'll shake it off over the next few days. It's not Harry's birthday tomorrow - I watched my video back to see if I'd said that, but no lol. He had his birthday in September. The lemon bars are almost all gone, so will have to sort out something else tomorrow. They always ask what's for pudding before they've even eaten their dinner! xx
