Usually the colors we love are the ones that look good on us. Remember if you are wearing a color that isn't yours just don't wear next to your face. But you are a beauty! Those eyes are gorjuss too. Wear your colors near your face the others can be worn as skirts, pants, etc. Thanks for sharing.

I had my colours done years ago & it sounds as if the way they did your was quite similar. I do remember going with a friend & our appointments were for 9am on a Saturday - as you mentioned quite a shock with no make up🫣. I had a reasonable idea of what might suit me but, like you white on its own & black were definite’nos’ but cream was ok. I still have the colour samples & we were given suggestion of colours for more expensive items such as coats, shoes & bags. The lipstick looks super on you but was initially a surprise as you either wear nude or just gloss. Great video Karen, thank you for sharing. ❤

Perfect colour lipstick, can definitely see its brightened your eyes. I’ve definitely changed the colours I wear since letting my hair go natural so maybe it’s time I had a consultation. When I had my salon I constantly changed hair colour so that’s probably why I mostly dressed in black then🤣

I think I may be similar to you with colours. I gravitate towards blues, blacks and pale pink.I made a dress in light sky blue dress not long ago with yellow flowers and green leaves and I can see the difference how I look. I also have made a green dress with red parrots in it. I never thought I would suit red but it surprised me when I wear it.😂
It’s amazing the difference it makes. I remember the white dress I made which totally washed me out and I never wore it, then I dyed it teal and it gets so much wear in the summer now. I really enjoyed the process of this and will look forward to delving into it more later this year with the full analysis xx

I am 81 and had my colors done many, many years ago. The best consequence of that is that many of my clothes go well together and sometimes things even match unintentionally! I highly recommend having your colors done, if you feel at all tempted to do it!

I'm so used to seeing you with a natural colour of lip, that it was a bit shocking (not bad looking, just totally unexpected) when you came on with the strawberry coloured lipstick. It really makes the colours that look good on you, look even better on you than the natural lip colour would have. You don't look like you have thin lips at all. Definitely not with that lipstick on anyway. You did well knowing what your colours were before you had them done. I was totally wrong. Mine was done 36 years ago, so it was done in seasons. I thought I was a summer, because I was very blond until I was about ten, and then I just darkened to a really light brown hair. I have blue grey eyes, and fair skin. But I turned out to be an autumn, and not the light Autumn either, but a more tawny rich coloured Autumn. I was shocked when the lady draped me in the powder blue, light cool pink, and gray that I always wore, and then draped me in rust, tomato red, darker yellow toned green, chocolate brown, and burnt orange. Suddenly I didn't feel invisible any more like I always had but didn't know why. It was like my skin suddenly glowed with health and radiance. It was really a strange feeling for me. I had really disliked the Autumn palette before she draped me in it, but there was no denying that she had hit the nail on the head with that one. It took me only a few hours of looking at the correct colours on me to fall in love with them and I have never looked back.
Oh wow that’s amazing how you were transformed with such a different colour palette to what you thought you were. I found it very interesting and I’m looking forward to going back for more. I’m glad line turned out as I thought as I really do like bright colours and I’m looking forward to experimenting more and using my colour palette for fabrics that I buy in the future. Luckily most of my stash is ok for me lol. I really love the lipstick colour. She tried a red on me first but it was so bold to my usual lips that I wasn’t confident enough for that and this one was a happy medium. I think it’ll look nice with my jumpsuit and jacket combo that I’m hoping to wear to my cousins wedding xx

Each to his own but I wear colours I like whether I was told they suited me or not because if I like the colour then I’m happy. If I was told to wear colours I didn’t like but they said they suited me, I would still not wear them if that makes sense. I’m happy for people who enjoy this process though but it’s not for me xx
Yes I know what you mean, I’m glad I like the colours that were selected for me and a lot of them I already wear. I’m still not keen on black so will only wear it occasionally, but will try adding that pop of colour. It was fun to play around with the colours and the make up 😀 xx
