Pre-Columbian, ancient stone, Indian artifacts, smooth round symmetrical basalt stone

Pre-Columbian stone artifacts found on the American Continent used by the Ancient inhabitants of the Americas including the American Indian. I do not know what this is except that it has been pecked and ground into shape.

Because of the size of this stone, it is my opinion that one larger than average ( a giant) would be the one to effectively use it !

I have one just like it my brother found here in Arkansas on a artifact site many years ago it's about the same size and it's jet black and highly polished only it has a bit of a flat edge on one side of the circle shape it is about 6 inches long and 5 1/2 wide and 2 1/2 thick the polish is extremely high but was obviously pecked before polished wonder what they were used for

It is based upon research and study of the different stone age periods and the methods and progressions of tools and craftsmanship of such.
