The problem is that people who have low self esteem often have that in conjunction with other things. And they aren’t bright and uplifting, because they don’t feel good about themselves. And the reality is that they actually are very attractive, but their energy screams that they aren’t comfortable in their own skin, which has the result of making them be less attractive to others. It’s the opposite effect. They de-attractive themselves. The key is to somehow rise about that and love themselves from the inside, and then the self esteem follows. From there, they become more bubbly. And from *there* they are very attractive to others.

Well, I actually grew to love myself, but still I'm an extremely shy introvert and I just can't make myself show just a bit of confidence outside, even if I know I can do something well or I feel good, or beautiful on that day. I just cannot and that's starting to frustrate me 😭
Especially when I'm watching videos like this, I think to myself "oh, I must be pretty attractive but let's click on this since I don't have anything better to watch" and I hear that I have to be confident, bubbly, happy all the time and pour my heart out on others. Nah. That's just not how I work. I prefer to leave this side of myself for people close to me and I feel a lot better this way.
I understand where this comes from but I feel like the society is pushing introverts too hard.
Come on, if you want to encourage us (I mean shy/insecure people here, not introverts ofc) to love ourselves, just show some love to us first. That's the first move, you can't just complain and say "oh, you should go out and see people, that will do". And trust me, introverts will appreciate every little gesture, just don't go overboard.
If you've read this till the end, have a nice day, because the comment started growing longer and longer and longer too fast as I was thinking what to write 😂❤️

@Psych2Go I have 2 topics I think would be interesting for you to cover. One thing that should have awareness spread about is Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria, it really was a turning point seeing that there was a description for what i was going through, and it made me feel less alone and hopeless. Another topic is messy parental relationships, where both sides are trying their hardest but it just isn’t going right, and is messy. I really need help with my messy relationship as my life and choices are restricted by my parents because they disagree with my beliefs and I can’t get the experiences i need to learn, and the things i believe and are part of me conflict with my parents beliefs, for a good example being bi and my parents believing you have to be born gay or else it is a sin or I am doing it because it being ‘popular’ influenced me, but she is still trying to work it out, and does her best, just sees what i see as impossible. It makes everything messy. Please consider making a video on what to do in these types of relationships, if you can either have a message towards parents or kids about these types of situations, it would help many lives, including my own. Love the content, you help me greatly every video even if it doesn’t relate to me, it educates me. Thank you

@@Psych2go I don’t really have any videos for it, but I saw alot just searching Rejection Sensitive Disorder. I mostly just knew it by having it, which was being afraid of judgement even if it doesn’t matter what the person thinks, even to me. As an example I showed my friend a song and it was a bit out there compared to what he listens to and cracked a joke about it, but the next day I couldn’t listen to the song cuz i felt dumb about it. I have trouble in social interactions and contradictory to some things I found I like showing people stuff I did and having social interactions, I just come out feeling like I screwed up or made a fool of myself because I just didn’t know what to do. I felt stressed in rooms full of people, so classrooms weren’t fun, I could do work alone by a pond or at a park, but in a classroom I felt watched and judged just being there because I’m quiet and people make comments and remarks on not knowing what I have, implying I was a school threat, making me feel the entire school rejected me, when I am a very I don’t care I do me type guy. Little remarks will affect me more than they should and having a joke not land just makes me even more quiet, shy, and awkward. I am only quiet cuz people dont talk to me, or people who do are there to make fun of me, make a purposely short awkward interaction, or I just have trouble holding a conversation with them cuz I don’t like small talk. I felt like I was going insane over every little thing and I didn’t understand what to do causing frustration as well. That’s the most of it, the little joke pass offs of judgement have alot more effect than people seem to realize, and I really felt alone in it because of that, I have a crippling fear of overreacting leading to me under representing any problems I’m in greatly, and afraid of the judgement I didn’t really tell anyone much of this, only my online friends who I always look forward to talking to because they make me feel understood, the fear of being seen as dramatic, overreacting, that your emotions aren’t a valid excuse, and being asked ‘well whats so bad’ or ‘what is actually wrong’ adds stress because I personally just wanted to get out of every situation i could and sort it out online where im more comfortable, people understood my issue but my parents though I was overreacting and my emotions aren’t a valid excuse for slowing down in school, but I couldn’t do my work in the room full of people, but I couldn’t get them to understand that. That is all I’ve got actually now, wanted to add that your videos are phenomenal, love all the animation styles and you help alot of people

I’ve been told all these things like your pretty and beautiful, but I don’t think that. Yeah I’m never going to be some super model but I honor the good in people. _ah, this helps a lot. you see, i'm non-binary who uses she as one of the pronouns, i've identified as a girl for the rest of my life, and since i used to identify as a girl only, i used to have long hair. my mom told me days ago that today, exactly, _*_today_*_ , a hairdresser would come to my house, and i wanted short hair with bangs that could cover my eyes, kinda like the alt hairstyle you can see in tiktok and pinterest. the thing is, my sister wanted the same hairstyle as me, the only difference being that she didn't want bangs. when she heard about what i want, she called me copycat (she meant it as a joke but it still made me feel kinda bad). when the hairdresser cut her hair, she looked so good. i got jealous. when it was my turn, i didn't want to tell the hairdresser what i wanted because my confidence crashed down. he only lowered the volume on my hair. i still don't feel like myself. that haircut was what would've made me happy with myself. even my mom thought it wouldn't really look good on me, but she obviously didn't say it because it was my choice._

⭐️ *5 Powerful Ways To Become Your Best Self:*
    1. Try new things.
You can’t let yourself become complacent. Surprise yourself by pushing yourself outside of your comfort zone. Doing so will give your ingenuity and innovative side a boost. Plus, you will have discovered something new about yourself -- perhaps a hidden talent or an ability to learn something you didn’t think you were capable of.
    2. Pursue your dreams.
Most people on their deathbeds say their biggest regret was not living their life to the fullest and actually pursuing their dreams… Instead, most of them lived a life pursuing other peoples dreams (like their parents) and never end up being their own authentic self… Don’t wait until you’re on your deathbeds. Do it now.
    3. Sustain your motivation.
We all have days when we wake up just not feeling it. Those days when our brains won’t get going - we’d rather do anything besides working. But despite being low on energy or inspiration, you have to find a way to keep moving forward. Remember, progress is incremental. You have to find ways to keep that fire in your belly; to keep nurturing that deep desire to achieve.
    4. Create good habits.
Habits shape our life. But remember when developing a habit it takes time and repetition, and should be done slowly. Trying to change too many things at once will feel overwhelming and daunting. The goal is to make incremental changes to your lifestyle that eventually become a way of life. Remember that even small habits can have a powerful cumulative effect.
    5. Focus on self-care.
Never spread yourself too thin. Many times we focus too much on filling other peoples cups that we forget to fill our own… Don’t forget, you can’t be the best for others if you can’t be the best for yourself.
If you’ve read this far and resonate with this post… Save it to remind yourself everyday and give it a thumbs up so others can see it and apply it as well!
    - Just an Alchemist, sending you lots of love 💜
