Wanting to control everything in order to be safe... that is why there are so many mediums, tarot readers, astrologers, sorcerers, etc. we need to be pigeonholed as you said very well... thanks for this conversation, I was waiting for the second part... I know you read your comments, and I hope one day you send greetings to your followers. PS: A humble advice, try to turn on the light when it gets dark 💡😂 Greetings fron Chile my friends🤘🏽🇨🇱
In vegas mind reader's shows they have paid inside people posing as amazed patrons while the details of their life are told (upto the color of their underware or ,knickers in british) by the mind reader
This had the potential to be so much better, eg looking at links between dissociation and paranormal feeling/experiences/outer body experiences esp in trauma victims, the use of various levels of the imagination and what the imagination is, what reality is how seemingly external paranormal events can help express and deal with hidden internal happenings, the wounded healer archetype in some shamanic practices (and how this maps onto many psychologists), Jung, psychological models of many occult practices, etc etc. unfortunately it ended up with the chap in the middle basically saying I’m really clever because I believe x unlike the really stupid people who believe Y over and over. The interviewers made a couple of valiant efforts to broaden it out but it mainly came back to how clever the interviewee was. We could do with a bit of good cop, bad cop interviewing 😁.
So in other words you wanted it to be something other than what either the hosts or the guest intended? Doesn't seem a fair criticism. Nor does implying that French is just a smug skeptic. I think he's worked hard to show that's not the case.
This podcast deserves MUCH more exposure and a LOT more views. The guests have largely been fantastic, and the discussions immensely enjoyable.
