Very interesting conversation, our minds are so fascinating... my first panic attack I didn't know what the hell was wrong with me, an acquaintance told me it could be witchcraft!!... (happily I visited a very good psychologist, and she explained everything to me )... Thanks for the program, Greetings from Chile PS: Waiting for the second part.
I had a terrible run with sleep paralysis that went on for years. I'd see shadow people in my room, leaning into my face, jumping into bed trying to strangle me, and also the screaming hag mentioned here. The first time it happened I was 100% sure someone had broken into my house. It was so real, it terrified me every time, no matter how often it happened (even after I learned what sleep paralysis was and had accepted it as an explanation!) I guess the amount of time I was fooled by it gradually got shorter each time, until it eventually stopped. There's a fantastic documentary on the subject called "THE NIGHTMARE (2015)" and I made everyone in my family watch it so they would understand what I was experiencing, because they captured it perfectly. Really entertaining too!
As a firm believer in an afterlife, I found this podcast fascinating and can not wait to listen to the next chapter on this captivating subject. I shall now listen to your past podcasts too. Only found your channel by chance by Maidens Instagram account! I'm a massive Maiden fan and have seen you and the guys multiple times in the past. My two favourite things rolled into one...metal and crazy shit 🤘great stuff. Danielle
Fascinating episode! Kevin, my mother died when I was an adult of 43 years. My wife and I were with her as she died. The time was 2.38 am. For the next three nights, I awoke in the night at precisely 2.38 am. I would love to hear your thoughts.
Interesting Episode, especially the psychological insights into paranormal phenomenon. I too was a skeptic, but now realize there are limitations to what we can know through science. Perhaps there is no evidence of supernatural phenomenon because there isn't supposed to be any - For instance, a being that can create a whole universe and control completely the history that unfolds within it - could choose to impart faith by operating "in the realm of the impossible". Am looking forward to reading the book!!
Enjoying this a lot. I’m actually reading Conan Doyle’s book on the Cottingly fairies right now. Though I must add, I am very much sceptical of sceptics I’m afraid... 😉

A sceptic would be sceptical of sceptics otherwise are they a true sceptic?
I'm just one mutual friend away from you Bruce, and you have no idea... Well, it doesn't matter. The Chemical Wedding album is actual magic.
Any one else read John G Guller's account of Eileen Garrett??
