Bvs, by far, is some of his best work. That movie has only improved over time.
Snyder makes one hell of a trailer, I can't deny that. I won't give my opinion on part 1 though.
How many slow-motion scenes can you fit in 1 movie.
Zack Snyder: "Yes."
and how perpetually damp can 2/3rds of the cast appear to be while in slow motion
@bwallatube 90% of the slow motion scenes in his movies are so useless and annoying and they don't enhance the scenes in anyway
@@Ringoroadagain6that's because he's a bad director. he could *maybe* cut it as a music video director, but that's it.
I just saw it and the story is basicly "A Bugs Life" in space😅
This trailer would be really cool if I cared one iota about any of these characters or knew who any of them are. The first part did nothing to establish their personalities aside from being brooding and gruff and alluding to a backstory that seems like it would make for a much better film. Even visually I found the first part extremely underwhelming. I am hoping this improves upon the first but I am not holding my breath - not sure if a full director's cut would even be much better.
Oh nooo I'm scared to watch it now 😂 maybe the Snyder cut helps a little?
i mean, the snyder cut didn't help justice league, it was still bad 🤣
@@ISavant you're not wrong 😬
The director's cut extra 1 hour will be all bout bloody violence and very detailed slo-mo character backstory I think...
Part 1 was legitimately one of the most laughably bad movies I've ever seen.
Part One redefined how well Zach Snyder can waste a giant budget on garbage. Part Two should give him a chance to level it up. Plot, writing, story whatevever, Zach doesn't need that, he just needs boom, booms, pews, pews and slo mo's.
I loved part 1. Better than Star Wars.
Wait for the directors cuts
@@The_ScienceboyYeah right.
Why tho? Why can every other competent director produce a good movie without the need for a director's cut? @@filmgoblin5016
Yall are seriously too far up your own asses.
Still trying to make it through part 1 🙄
it took me 3 times to get through it and i still can't remember a single character's name.
I'm sorry. All I was thinking whilst watching the trailer was "Brought to you by ChatGPT".
I'm sorry but your comment is more ChatGPT than anything from the trailer😂
People use the ChatGPT insult so much these days. When in reality is them that act more like AI than humans
0:24 isn’t Dune a trilogy though?
Be careful of waiting for a director’s cut, or you might get an overpopulated Mos Eisley. Serious note: I watched and enjoyed the theatrical cut, but it was only technically PG-13. My beef with TV-MA and R “just because” is that my kids miss on tons of great experiences I could share with them.
Snyder is an extremely talented music video director that keeps trying to make full movies. Honestly I half expect Netflix saw the finished first film first and then decided to do the whole "snyder cut" thing as a last ditch effort to salvage something from what they invested into this thing. They really tried to make this a multi-media franchise and the first one was.. just not going to do that.
i'm pretty sure it was snyder's idea to pretend he didn't have full freedom to do what he wanted and he went "lol what if i pretend there's a snyder cut to drum up more interest"
Netflix is fully trusting Snyder with this franchise because it gave them the views they wanted not reviews
As with the first one, I'm most excited to see that gryphon in action.
Unless I hear that part 2 is that good I'm not even going to bother. Part 1 was a struggle to not turn off. If you take the basic plot, crappy storytelling, forgetable characters, and bad pacing out of the discussion, the action was still MEH and it looked crappy.
This is going to be just as bad as part 1. But it still has Sofia Boutella so I'll be watching it twice.
Extended cut? Jesus. Part 1 was too long since there were so many slow motion scenes.
This looks really good got me hyped
One of these days Zack Snyder will learn to make a movie correctly the first time so we don’t have to keep suffering redo’s…ahem…sorry “Snyder cuts”
One of these days yall will stop blaming zack and ask the studios to stop Messing with his films.
I'm sorry, Snyder is the thing Nerdy is taking a stand and saying people over analyze stuff too much?
So 7 samurai the robot anime one
Samurai 7 also on netflix
Really dumb not dropping the directors cut of the first one till after this, if it is better, it would help viewership for the second part when it drops.
Idk I liked part one it was like a 7/10 but still watchable can’t wait for part 2
Don't bother watching any cut. While visually appealing (although problematic in parts), the story is awful. It is as if a 10 year old wrote it... which makes sense given he came up with this when he was 11.
Part 1 was enjoyable but part 2 will be epic. Cannot wait to watch it!
I had heard good things about the first one so I gave it a shot, even though it wasn't the "real" movie. Bailed after 15 minutes. It was super predictable, and terribly acted. It looked very weird to me too. Just wasn't for me, I guess.
Unfortunately, part one of Rebel Moon HAD NO STORY. Lots of set pieces, swiped from other good movies, with no actual story to hold them together. There is no worldbuilding.
It had story and it had world building
@@thewitcherking937, no and no. It had character schticks stitched together into scenes and a bunch of sets for over-the-top action sequences. That does not comprise either a story or worldbuilding.
@@LeeCarlson yes and yes. Character traits aren't schticks. It has a story and it had world building. It had lore. It had a purpose and reason that tied those art his together and those set pieces all served the overall story. You not Liking it or engaging with it doesn't mwna there was no story or world building.
@@thewitcherking937, I said that you were entitled to your opinion. It is different from mine. I have not been so disappointed in a piece of fiction in over 65 years. And there was a lot of promise-just no follow-through.
@@LeeCarlson there is a difference between opinion and and an objective claim About a movie. What you said was an objective claim fhat is not true. You not Liking it is your opinion and you're entitled to it.
Meh
It looks awesome! Cant wait for the extended versions!
I can't wait to see how garbage this "sequel" is given how bad the first one was. and no, snyder stans, it was not a good movie, it was laughably bad.
ah shit they ruined a great audioslave song too
They ruined nothing.
It was OK. Yall are just overreacting.
@@thewitcherking937 no, it wasn't even ok. it was shit.
@@ISavant no it wasn't. It was fine. Nothing offensive or anything that warrans the ridicukous reactions.
