- Dev Patel stars and makes his directorial debut in "Monkey Man," which hits theaters April 5th!
After a few delays and being picked up by Jordan Peele's production company, we finally will get to experience the harsh and intense magic that is Monkey Man. The film originally was not supposed to debut in theaters, but rather straight to streaming via Netflix, but Peele got hold of the script and had the same thought as everyone else - give me ONE good reason why this shouldn't be playing at the cinema?
Clearly, there were none.
We can't wait to check this one out!

The title is misleading should've called it "Dev Wick" cause of the john wick vibes! 😜 JK this is clearly doing it's own thing and looks great. Heard he wasn't getting these roles so he made his own, got to respect that.
It was giving John Wick! Especially when you see Dev with the dog! We were so scared something was going to happen to that pup lol I think we have PTSD from John Wick 😂

@@relatablenerds i said it for the typical indians. Who believes that this is an indian movie. And he is not an indian actor. He is actually a British actor, director and writer.
Got it. He is of Indian descent. But you are correct he was not born in India. However, this actor has been climbing to lead roles for a very long time and we have been watching his career since he was in television shows in his teenage years. This movie was not even supposed to be debuted in theaters but Jordan Peele saw the script and made sure it would hit theaters with his production company.
The fact that Dev Patel is the main star in this AND directing at the same time is a tough feat! He’s extremely talented and put some Indian lore and his culture into this movie as well, which in the long run, could influence a lot of people in the western world to look into other Indian movies.
@@relatablenerds yeah he is a good actor. But western people dont understand what india is what indian films are. They watch 2,3 typical films, or they heard about steretyped bollywood and thinks that these is actually indian films. The thing is indians dont know about other oarts of indians culture, language or anything. Its like a whole world in one country. There are 20+ states in india. Each states have different language, culture, foods style, films, musics, traditions. And so on. Thats why infia called as diversed country. But westerners didnt know why india called like that. India have every type of films. In south side of india. Especially in kerala. Malayalam film infustries dont use dance numbers in every movies. Our movies are story drivened and character oriented. Every region is different every film industry is different. If you love A24 production films, then watch malayalam films. You love it. We do some good stuffs, not like typical films of india. Watch and understand about every film industries of india.

Reaction didn’t match the intensity of the trailer, ladies. It was just alright.
I think you guys are milking money out of the Indian audience, if you really like Indian movies you would see them in the cinema, but you're faking your liking for Indian films just for money. Sad

We’ve actually seen multiple Indian movies in theaters. Every single one we react to though? Simply not possible. The movies are expensive in America! We also are pretty busy with our full time jobs outside of creating content. It’s difficult to find the time to balance everything out but we try our best.
And for the record, most of our Indian reactions are demonetized because of us including trailers and music in our videos, so we are not milking anything as we do not even make a penny from them. Next time, do a little more research before you make false claims.
