If you go to the Little Free Library site they have a page where it mentions all of the cheap ways to make a library like you mentioned in your video. The easiest library to make is repurposing an old newspaper box. Cause that one you just stick it right there on the ground in front of your house.
I am a LFL Steward as well and I made my library out of a used kitchen cabinet that I bought for super cheap at the Habitat for Humanity Restore. I then did the weather seal around the door like you mentioned as well as I had to build a roof for it.
Some more info I have is that if you are a LFL Steward there is a just for stewards page on the LFL site and you can print out all kinds of different things for your library from signs to bookmarks as well as book labels.
Another good place to get books is a public library/friends of the library book sale! They sell discarded + donated books to raise money for the library, and normally the books are super cheap! My local friends of the library group has one day a month where you can get a whole bag of books for only $10.
This video has been so helpful!! Thank you so much for takin the time to create this, I'm looking to start one here in Midtown Memphis and your video has been so insightful
Thank you for sharing your information. My husband is currently building a library for our yard. Nice to hear that you love the experience and how you get it started with books. ❤
Hi Bri, I like your video and story. One of the things I noticed is that the project included your mother and father, bless them for the help and support they gave you. You’re a very nice person. I’m impressed with the final result, good job! Any way, I am planning to build and set up a LFL this summer. Your video helps a lot.

There are two that I know of in my town. Really neat LFLs.
