Another good place to get books is a public library/friends of the library book sale! They sell discarded + donated books to raise money for the library, and normally the books are super cheap! My local friends of the library group has one day a month where you can get a whole bag of books for only $10.

Thrift store books are anywhere from $2.99 to $5.99. Our public library system has books from 10 cents (childrens) to $1.00 (adult books). Most adult books are 50 cents. I just loaded up with 5 bags of books this week. My plastic LFL arrives TODAY!!! I'm going to use it for childrens' books and I also ordered a 2 shelf wooden one, which should arrive by the end of the month. LFL charter #181897

The plaque is now $49.00 !!!! I just ordered mine.

I never count my manga in my wrap ups because I read around 50 volumes a month but maybe I should start hahah. I'm glad they were able to keep you reading. They definitely help me keep reading in between novels!

When my anxiety and depression is bad I always want to buy books because getting a new book always gives me serotonin BUT the next day I wake up anxious about wanting to read but too depressed to give in. I'm always reading my manga before my light novels or novels and it all piles up to where books just = stress until the rut passes :`) I hope you start feeling better soon and definitely don't feel pressered to read more this year or to make videos. Hopefully when you start feeling better you'll get more motivated to read and your mental treats you better 💜

I always tell myself I'm going to stop buying books and then the next day I find a book that "oh, I really wanted that and it's right here now. Oh, and this book sounds really interesting even though I only just heard of it. And look at this! Is this the almost-complete collection of X series!? I'd be dumb not to buy it now!"

For some reason I thought that these were only for children's books so I've not ever been to one. I now plan to go through my bookshelf and go around my city in a few weeks when it gets warmer.
