The choice of life-long virginity is praised several places in the New Testament. There are some indications of the existence of Jewish Temple virgins in the Old Testament, as well.
@@mailill I've noticed you responded to my my question on another video. Thanks! Do you know where can I find these indications concerning special virgins in the temple?
@@arkadiuszdec2493 There are listed three examples that might be seen as indications (maybe not absolute proof, though) of the existence of Jewish temple virgens from the Old Testament and in some other Jewish scriptures in an article called "Did Jewish Temple Virgins Exist and was Mary a Temple Virgin?" by a very Catholic guy named Dr. Taylor Marshall (I have no idea what he is doctor in though).
@@mailill Thanks! I saw this article, but it still looks for my like a theory. We can guess many things from the Bible, but this is very dangerous way, because we may fail.
@@arkadiuszdec2493 Don't forget, then, that Second Corinthians 3:6 talks about “a new covenant-not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.” Instead of being scared of everything that may not be described to a "t" in the Bible, one could instead know each tree (for instance each convent) by its fruits. I personally believe the Bible is written by fallible men, like the tradition, (and that the Bible can be seen as a part of the early tradition, as I wrote to you in another thread), but the verse about trees and fruits actually makes a lot of sense to me: "Ye shall know them by their fruit." and: "every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit" I'll give you the Bible has some really good quotes. Some convents may be toxic places, while others are dominated by love and compassion. I think the main thing is to make sure they are not like cults, where it is made hard to leave and where people get broken down, brain washed and exploited.
May all of you persevere until death.

Beautiful. I'm 75. It's too late for me. Sadly, I didn't have what it takes. God bless those courageous souls who do.
It’s never too late there is no age limit
Que Dios y la Virgen las cuiden y protejan siempre 🙏🏻 🙏🏻

They did more than what Jesus said we should do. They didn't obey him
Where did this idea come from? Why we don't see a nun in the Bible?
