- Not only is the habit of the Holy Spirit Adoration Sisters unusual. Whoever joins the convent says goodbye to the world forever. The nuns can only communicate with the outside world through a grille. This film takes a look at the "Pink Sisters" in Steyl.
My oldest sister choose this vocation 19 years ago and she is in Style now. I still can remember how painful it was when she decided to join the convent but, I saw her very happy with her decision. We let God take care of everything and our pain. Just hoping and looking forward that someday, somehow we gonna see each other again. Stay safe and God bless us all.

We too have the Holy Spirit Adoration Sisters, the Pink Sisters here in St. Louis. Most Catholics in the area know if you ask them to pray for your special intention Our Lord is very receptive to it. May they be with us always and blessed by GOD forever.
Pray for us dear sisters as we too, are praying for you. We are but One Church and so we pray for one another. Thanks for your courage to live a secluded life of sacrifice and prayer.
I think of prayer as the battery that powers good works. I wonder how many times a prayer has saved me without my knowing? Much love to these Sisters. May they always find peace in their vocation. I love their practice of silence. It makes me wonder how much I distract myself with needless talk.

As the sister in 5:20 says, "To those for whom it is a calling, it brings fulfillment. Those who are not called can't do it." Not everyone is called to be prayer warriors like these women. But that doesn't mean everyone who isn't called to this vocation is lacking or less important; as St Paul said, 'But in fact God has placed the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be. If they were all one part, where would the body be? As it is, there are many parts, but one body...If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it." (1 Corinthians 12:18-26) The rest of us too are honored by these women because they too are "us", so let us rejoice that the Catholic Church is so blessed to have these women.
For all of us, however, they are a living reminder that this life is not home; it is at most a temporary stop and that all the good things in it are not worthy of being the overriding preoccupation of our life - neither wealth (vs. poverty), nor family and the fulfillment that comes with it (vs. chastity), nor chasing happiness by getting what we want (vs. obedience) - however good they may be. These women are astonishing witnesses to what Christ said the Kingdom of God is like: ""The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it... in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field....the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls.When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it." (Matthew 13:44-46) These women knew a good deal when they saw it.

i saw Sister Mary Adoracion in the video . Shes from Cebu Philippine s chapel. I knew her since i worked as one of the convent boy. She was still on her Novitiate stage back then. I'm happy to see her in this video.

But this is the calling of everyone who is in Christ, who is a Christian, not just for those hidden away in a convent or a monastery. These things should be in every believer's life.
Yes, having experienced both the cloistered life of commitment, & the total Christian commitment in the secular world, much discipline such as consistent prayer & quiet time for attention to prayer & the scriptures, avoiding distraction & banal curiosity, & consistency in attention to the needs of others, as well as regular joining with the Christian community in formal worship are very challenging & difficult to achieve in our busy, noisy, often self-centered & self-indulgent world. But it is the call, & the better way.😀🙏💖
Perhaps but some are called to it more intensely.
The Lord calls with different gifts and service..He calls us to whatever work he has for us to do.

Do you know why the world is full of crimes? That's because there is lack of prayers. I know because I had experienced a miracle from prayer. It's not about whose prayers is more powerful than others but it's about unceasing prayers. Continuous communication with God throughout the day is getting more difficult each day because of our busy schedules and many distractions of life. That's why we need people like these wonderful sisters. I always admired those nuns who live in monastery, dedicating their lives with prayers. Many are having misconceptions about them because they do not understand and never see or experienced the miracles of prayers. Let's all pray for more vocations like these especially for me dear sisters because I have a calling to become a Carmelite nun and I really hope that vocation would become a reality.

I thought they were going to say that the color of the pink habit was inspired by the pink cheeks of the sisters. Some of them are a perfect match to the habit!!! How blessed we are that these sisters are constantly before the Lord for the world or believers.

I have visited and prayed in their chapels here in the Philippines. One in Quezon City and another in Tagaytay City. So peaceful.
Oh how beautiful . just watching these beautiful sisters . you feel God . walking along the grounds. not thinking about anything but God . leave everything in Gods hands . this place would make a beautiful retreat . to escape all the sadness and sorrows of every day life .
There is still hope that our generation can be totally re-consecrated to the Heart of Christ
But my younger sister Connie doesn't believe in anything anymore except to God Almighty alone.

Dear Rev. Sisters! I thank and praise the Lord God for your ministry. Your intercessory prayers need of the hour. Please pray for my daughter A. Cynthia from Tamil Nadu, India who is suffering from depression and stress. She lost her mother in December 2020 due to cancer. As a result she discontinued her college Studies twice. She is not able to sleep or eat or relate with us. She feels that she is a burden to us which is not true. She has been thinking of ending her life. To those who are asking why they speak German and not Dutch, well for as far as I know, St. Arnold Janssen, the founder of the Pink Sisters is German. and another reason for that is that their Convent and their Mission House is very close to the German border.
All these are saints though not declared . I've huge respect for them for they sacrifice their whole life with joy not with complaints.
Pink habits are gorgeous colours. Normally nuns are blue red black white and brown. From a legion of mary member.😇

We thank these Catholic nuns praying for our world incessantly. Coming from a Catholic school we also pray every day for our family , and every one . I am forever grateful my dad send my sisters and I to Catholic school. Rosary, scripture reading, reflection , rosary very much an integral part of part of Catholic.

and the church believe it's not on how much time you give to pray but how much love you put in prayer and charity it's not the quantity it's the quality, and the most important prayer is the love relationship with god it is knowing, accepting his free unconditionally love , and love him back in your whole being that's real prayer , and union of prayer . :)

Interesting. My impression is they are still a part of the world no matter how they wish to see it. Still, spiritually they are completely dedicated to our Lord in thought, feelings, and action. Though I do not speak their language the attitudes I see expressed are those of the faithful. Indeed, we add our prayers also, even our most unworthy prayers to theirs. I wish I could pray 24 four hours a day. I am barely able to do an hour, and a devotion in the morning and evening. Remain Blessed.
This is so enlightening. It’s strange that one of the things I noticed is the robes and habits. I can’t imagine what type of material is used that there seems to be not even one small wrinkle. Their clothing is beautiful.

dear...! as Christians we say that there's no unworthy prayers, god hears all our prayers and he want us to trust in that and lean on him even more and more to accomplish what is good and most important what is better for us, he want us to trust his fatherly loving heart, that that loves us for free and unconditionally, we have to trust in his will and why we will do that? because it's a loving will .

"And now write for My consecrated souls."
It was the last time Josefa would transcribe the burning desires of the Heart of Jesus for them:
"I call them all - My priests, My religious, and My nuns - to live an intimate life of union with Me.
"It is their privilege to know My longings and to share in My joys and sorrows.
"There's, to labor at My interest, never sparing themselves trouble or pain.
"Theirs, by prayer and penance, to make reparation for many, many souls.
"There's, above all, to become more and more closely united to Me and never to abandon Me, never to leave Me alone! Some do not understand and forget that it is for them to give Me companionship and consolation. . . .
"And finally, it is for them to combine together in a league of love making but one in My Heart, to implore for souls the knowledge of truth, life and pardon. And when they see with deep sorrow the outrages I receive, My chosen souls will offer themselves to make reparation and to labor at My work; let their trust be unhesitating, for I shall not refuse their supplications, and all they asked will be granted them.
"Let them all, then, apply themselves to the study of My Heart and to understand My feelings, striving to live in union with Me, to converse with Me and to consult Me. Let them cloth their actions in My merits, bathe them in My Blood, and consecrate their lives to the saving of souls and the extension of My glory.
"Let them not desend to personal reflections which belittle them, but rejoice at seeing themselves closed with the power of My Blood and of My merits. If they rely on self, they will do little or nothing, but if they labor with Me, in My Name and for My glory, they will be powerful.
"Let these consecrated souls revive their desire for reparation, and beg confidently for the advent of the Divine King: that is, for My universal Sovereignty.
"Let them be burnt up with zeal and charity for sinners. . . Praying for them with compassionate hearts and treating them with all gentleness.
"Let the world hear from their lips how great is My kindness, My love and My Mercy.
"Armed with prayer, penance, and reliance on Me, never on self, let them go forward to their apostolic labors in the power and goodness of My Heart which is ever with them. . . .
"My apostles we're poor and ignorant men, but rich and wise in the wealth and wisdom of God, and their watchword was: In Thy Name, oh Lord, I shall labor and be all-powerful.
"I ask three things of My consecrated souls:
"REPARATION, that is a life of union with Him who makes Divine Reparation: to work for Him, with Him, in Him, in a spirit of reparation, in close union with His feelings and desires.
"LOVE, that is intimacy with Him who is all Love, and who humbles Himself to ask His creatures not to leave Him alone, but to give Him their love.
"CONFIDENCE, that is trust in Him who is goodness and mercy. . . . With Him whom I live with day and night. . . . who knows me and whom I know. . . . who loves me and whom I love. . . . In Him who calls His chosen souls in a special way to live with Him, to know His Heart and so to trust Him for everything."
This concludes His Message, and then the following is written:
The last lines of the Message were written. . . . Josefa noted down what her Master wished her to communicate from Him to the Bishop of Poitiers, whom she was expecting shortly, then she laid down her pen. A few instants pass in Love's embrace. . . . Gods secret. . . . How solemn was the hour which marked the termination of Our Lords Appeal to souls.
