- Grom Gets Shredding! Cashy's First Wakeboard Comp (Mom's Perspective)
This summer took a wild turn when my little Cashy (you might remember her from the snowboarding adventures!) decided to conquer the water on a wakeboard. Two weeks later, she found herself fired up and ready for her first ever competition: The Wake In The Snake!
Cashy, the youngest girl (and one of the youngest riders overall) in the co-ed Grom division (11 & under), absolutely shredded! The format was simple: two passes with tricks for points, all while avoiding those dreaded wipeouts. Cashy stayed up for the entire ride, even through the turn, showcasing her skills and determination.
While she didn't land every trick in her arsenal, she placed a respectable 8th out of 12 (the winner even threw a backflip!). But most importantly, she had a BLAST!
This competition went beyond just the wakeboarding. The Wake In The Snake was a family-friendly haven with water fights, slip-n-slides, delicious local food, and positive vibes all around. It was clear Cashy found a new passion - a "beast to her beauty" kind of love, just like snowboarding.
Big thanks to Axis for making this dream a reality, Cashy for her infectious enthusiasm, and Idaho Water Sports for such a fantastic event!

Yeah when we asked her and she said she wanted to do it we were pretty shocked but she had a blast and that is all that matters!

They just showed the Pro Wakeboarder Tyler Stewart on the local news here in Minnesota. He was on our Lake Minnetonka. I'm sure you guys heard of him! And they showed his sister, a great wakeboarder too and I thought "yeah, that'll be Cashy pretty soon!" (Doing those fancy moves).

Where is her tutu...? Cashy is so brave.
We're not sure a tutu is a great idea for water sports until we can find one that is made for water
@@RowleyAdventures I didn't thought about it. On snow adventure Tutu is her USP, I think for water adventure, Cashy need to have something different and suitable for water which will be her unique proposition, it could be something entirely different from Tutu. God bless Cashy and you parents.
