As a Messi fan, I appreciate Cristiano Ronaldo the more and more the years go on and there's no players currently in 2024 coming close to what they both accomplished.
Quaresma surely had more talent but Ronaldo left everyone in dust with his hard work and he does have talent, on top of that gifted with the athleticism 😊
Ronaldo was more talented than Quaresma, there's a reason why Sir Alex Ferguson decided to sign him over Quaresma and the rest of the other sporting players at just 18 Years old
In 2007 my life was so simple going to school I didn't study of course I played pro volution soccer on the weekend my favorite players still played, champions leagues was incredible ha good times good times

Just two things to say : 1) MESSI was lucky that Ronaldo got injured and his playstyle was changed forever. 2) All UCL giants were lucky that Ronaldo left REAL MADRID at the peak of his PRIME.
Just two thing to counter: 1) Messi also have injuries, even long one but he never changed his play style so that's not a good excuse unless you were saying Ronaldo not good enough to overcome his injury to play normally. 2) Ronaldo already in decline during his last year with Madrid. it's crazy how people can even hate him? or say he's bad? lol Look at his achievments and say it again. I love both Ronaldo and Messi, great footballers. We won't see anyone like them for a very long time.
Changed the game and redefined a position in football. There have always been great dribblers of the ball, players with great first touch, players with great passing, etc.; but to have all those attributes and then the longevity, and adaptability, showcasing it in multiple leagues while not letting the level drop? People will always have their opinions, but this guy is a phenomenon; and a player like him is unlikely to be seen again - someone who could literally do it all; not just a one trick pony.
Natural talent? perhaps Hazard did have it more than CR7, but when it comes to the hunger, professionalism, and disciplining their bodies, CR7 is the best of all time. that guy is obsessed with maintaining his physicality.

If Messi is Jordan then Ronaldo is LeBron James. A close #2 GOAT who had the best work ethic. Messi is naturally talented and had help like taking HGH as a kid

We should cherish that they played in the era we were alive in. Please stop comparing both start cherishing as they are never gonna be there again. I miss them both. More natural talent doesn't mean a better player. Hazard arguably was correct in saying this. It was Cristiano's work ethic and dedication that allowed him to surpass others and become a great.

Very well said. People who say he is less talented than other players like hazard probably haven’t seen young Ronaldo play. I had not seen hazard done anything outrageous that young Ronaldo used to do every game.

Quaresma was incredible, I miss him...

Just two things to say :
1) MESSI was lucky that Ronaldo got injured and his playstyle was changed forever.
2) All UCL giants were lucky that Ronaldo left REAL MADRID at the peak of his PRIME.
Just two thing to counter:
1) Messi also have injuries, even long one but he never changed his play style so that's not a good excuse unless you were saying Ronaldo not good enough to overcome his injury to play normally.
2) Ronaldo already in decline during his last year with Madrid. It pretty obvious if you look at his declining goal number over the year

Look at his achievments and say it again.
