Great to get the interview with Bruno before his win. I watched most of the weekend on the DDRC feed - what a fantastic few days. I must pop along 😜 next year, as MK is only a few miles from where I grew up.
I managed to watch most of Saturday and most of Sunday including nearly all the finals. Needless to say this event never disappoints, always a set of difficult to call race results, and a great spectacle for the many spectators - Formula 1 is a poor second compared to this. Outstanding organisation and hard work from the Silverstone RC Model Car Club, BRCA, tech support, and Scotty Ernst (commentary and MC). Plus the quality of driving and racing etiquette from all the drivers was an example to all. Amazing how Popalong RC managed to get this YT edited and out so quickly - with all the cameras, interesting clips and interviews, top show. Great to meet Mark and thanks for the stickers - hope to be out and about with 2 race cars very soon.
great video guys, you seemed to have caught the vibe of the event really well and got some awesome footage of the finals. Looking forward to your interview with Scotty he's a frikkin legend!
Guys that looked absolutely awesome, shame it clashed with MICC which is where i was. But, I'll definitely be in for the GP next year. 🤞 Glad I wasn't in a car with you guys after!!! 💨💨
M&S Best Ever sausage rolls are next level too, I think we need a full M&S Snack review on the channel soon as part of a video, with taste test and all 😂 Nice job on the video guys, as many have said it captures the spectacle very well. I didn't race this year, but have done a couple, and people can rarely appreciate the work and effort that goes into putting it on, not to mention how tough it is on the racers too. It might be toy car racing, but it takes its toll!
Did not know that they were running vintage , I would have tried to book in for that , both myself and my daughter race in the vintage class. Maybe next year (Mardave cobra battle ?)
I like how these offroad guys think they're so different, but they're slowly becoming onroad grip racers as they get more and more competitive. Soon they'll just be driving touring cars on a flat track
It makes no sense that they don't just go to slicks with tyre additive like they do in the states, a control amount of sets could be used at big meetings like this also. I can see carpet specific cars being produced in the near future if the popularity of carpet racing continues to grow
@@RCRacingGuy-cp6zv not really they are still compromised with shocks being long and high CG, Associated tested what sounds like an inboard shock design but decided it wouldn't work well on rough tracks
I watched the vintage class, that was a race and half as well. This event is massive. Thanks for covering it.
What are the popular cars in that class?
We have a video on just the vintage coming soon …

Was some great racing sunday!
I will be racing next year on the Sunday
Blimey, i;m off to M&S tomorrow to try a couple of those Scotch Eggs.
Not a fan of the coronation egg 🥚 not a good mix
Great video, must be awesome to be at an event like that. Well done. Thanks for sharing 👍🤝
had a fantastic weekend
Well done for getting these out so soon! Visited for the Saturday and was great to watch though they need to improve the speaker system for Scotty!
Shame he was not as clear to hear from the spectators area
Great coverage of a brilliant event, I managed to get there on Saturday but just missed the 2wd finals .
Shame you missed the 2wd but the trucks and vintage looked fun

if i go to UK i need to try scotch egg.
just a bit affraid to get a case of ABS angry bowel syndrome. 😆
Hahaha they are a delight
That 4wd f1 car I think is 1/8 scale. For the price of that thing you could buy a trf421.😁
😂,
