Just found your channel... I LOVE this cup! You are so talented! I'm a sewist and don't do any epoxy stuff but love watching it. Glad to have another great channel to add to my list! 💙 🤗
This is so gorgeous but I have always used KSResin fast set but if I have my room to warm the inks dry up to fast or not enough epoxy. This is a d definitely a must try. Thank you for the tutorial.
newbie resin artist here...i have seen other artists work who say alcohol ink fades.. is this the case still with this type or does the base paint help prevent it .. ??
No, I use a dremel and a 120 grit flapper wheel to grind/sand a rim. I do this after the design layer, but before the final layer. If you follow me on tiktok I have a pinned video of how I do this.
I dont understand my woodgrain get yellow after some days . I had a client that complained about the woodgrain color change. I did know about that if that client has not mentioned about that. I made a new cup for him for free. Could tell me if you know why the reason the color change?
its' beautiful! but I was wondering why you don't just put something on the cup that covers the area that you don't want white spray paint on? does painter's tape stick or leave marks or something? or, could you simply remove the wood grain in the area you want to work with your blues on. Ive used alcohol to remove patches where I wanted something to show that I epoxied underneath.

I use MH turners and love them
Hi, I just love this combination and the style. From where you bought this tuner without that I can't make this.
Oh yes, the turner is from MH Turners, it is their tilt turner.

LOVE THIS!!
On the second tumbler you showed at 3:50, did you just tape of around the lip to reveal the stainless steel cup?
No, I use a dremel and a 120 grit flapper wheel to grind/sand a rim. I do this after the design layer, but before the final layer. If you follow me on tiktok I have a pinned video of how I do this.
Is the fast set the reason the inks are staying together more? Mine always run
Yes exactly!
Need to watch

What brand of inks are you using?

I don’t tape it off in this case because I don’t want hard lines. It’s all personal preference, this is just the way I do it.
Awsome
Hi, does anyone know if the river tumbler is for sale? I am sooo in love with it!! Thank you!!!
I can make you one, just message me on my etsy www.PineAndFeathers.com
Are you using alcohol inks for the wood grain? I couldn't tell.
Yes, I am
@@pineandfeathers1611 love it!
Can I do this with regular epoxy, not fast set?
You might be able to, the inks might move more though.
Where can I buy those inks?
I get all of my inks from Black Bear Glitter
What heat gun are you using??
Heat Gun, Mowis 1800W Heavy Duty... www.amazon.com/dp/B07R59DW26?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I wish the river was that blue , but then again , I'm in Ohio. Our rivers are mud brown or algie green .
