He scared the hell out of me when he was in Robocop, and then he scared the hell out of me when he was Red Foreman.
Red Foreman WAS my dad 😂😂. The things he said sounded just like my dad and I am a kid of the ‘70’s. His line “Bad things don’t happen to you because you have bad luck, bad things happen because you’re a dumb a**!” Classic!
Rich Eisen should be recognized for his choosing of guests. He picks funny people and lets them talk
Clarence Boddicker is one of the all time best movie bad guys 👏🏻
Red Foreman and Al Bundy need to meet each other
that 90's show is actually good, and he is a big reason why!
Legit phenomenal actor just so amazing. He’s so good.
I mean he's like Patrick Stewart. Looked 20 years older at 30 but then stopped there for the next 50 years.
"Bitches leave!" xD - best line from Robocop
Omg.. he married the secretary from RoboCop 😂 thats awesome. Always proud to know Kirkwood is from San Jose California.
im enjoying the continuation
Red and Kitty as grandparents is amazing stuff
Best tv dad ever.
Worst movie dad: Dead Poet's Society
Two words. Al Bundy.
Thanks Kurt. I was 14 when That 70's Show started watched from the pilot episode. My sisters and I loves it. Everyone was awesome on the show. From Bob down to the Pastor lol.
Curtwood played a psychopathic serial killer in Picket Fences who was pretty creepy.
PATRIOT ON PRIME is amazing Curtwood Smith acting!! Why does no one know about this amazing show??
He even does a multi-episode podcast as the character he plays which is absolutely phenomenal!
My brother had an interaction with Robin Williams in a bike shop in Santa Monica once in the 90s. Robin was having a bike worked on at the shop and my brother was a customer also and was buying a part. Robin Williams walked in and they both had to wait and we’re talking with the guy working at the shop and Robin went off for a couple of minutes saying funny stuff, riffing and it was like they had their own personal performance by him. Then he got his bike and was gone.
Can you fly, Bobby?
RoboCop!Classic.Nuff Said
Poor Bobby, they threw him in the police car window.
That 70s Show is by far and away my favourite tv show of all time. Red Foreman is absolutely iconic.
This actor is underrated. He played loads of different characters from villains to good guys and you're always convinced by his acting. You'd hate him if he was a villain and you'd like him if he plays a dad in a comedy tv show. Though I think I like him in comedies better. 👏🏼
Kurtwood has two catch lines. He has 'Can you fly Bobby?' from Robocop and 'Dumbass' from that 70's show.
Robocop is not the classic film, without Mr. Smith. He was legendary
From the first episode That 70s Show was a winner! Really terrific cast but I'm telling you I was there mostly for Red and Kitty.
His character Red Forman is a top 5 elite television dad.
Best character on That 70's Show My dad was like Red Foreman in many ways. Old school Korean War army vet.
MY STEP DAD WAS A VET AND WAS RED. I WAS CALLED BOY.
Thanks for this, love Kurtwood!
He would come in to my mom’s grocery store and was always the nicest guy
The man is a legend.
Can you fly Bobby......
That 90's show is trash.
Dope Interview As Always Rich💯👍
C'MAN SAL, TIGERS ARE PLAYING *TUDU TUDU* TONIGHT!
Did he talk about defending Danny Masterson?
Wish Red was my Dad. At least he gave a f*ck.
"Father Krang" is his finest, imo.
Big fan of Clarence Boddicker and Red Foreman. That said, That 90s Show is D.O.A.
I am shocked this guy hasn't played in any other major roles in films. I only recall him from Robocop and Dead Poet's Society.
Red Forman 4 Prez!
How Rich didn't ask him if if he was actually a Tigers fan is beyond me!
"This is an unauthorized thought process."
Love Kirkwood,nation treasure
Prison Director Poe from Fortress.
His character in Patriot is next level brilliant
Fortress! ♥️ Kurt 🪵
"This is an unauthorized thought process."
Still very funny
This is why you have talent coordinators to do a pre-interview before you ask Kurtwood Smith if he has a good John Candy story and comes up with bupkis. 🤦🏻♂️
Not everything has to be scripted, mate. Rich was genuinely stoked to ask the question and then bummed with the response. Normal human discussion.
@@heathmelrose3914 or, he could have asked a better question with the limited amount of time he had. Having a talent coordinator doesn’t mean it’s scripted. It just establishes what questions and topics are worth exploring, and as in this case, which ones are not. 🙄
’70s* ’90s* …apostrophes are for contractions & possession
He has that Bob Fosse quality.. maybe that's why they cast him as the choreographer in Staying Alive.. he certainly resembles the late Bob Fosse.
Great person and actor, terrible show
The 90s show, sure. Woke unfunny bullshit.
The 70s show is pretty good.
@@adriantrusca1245 When you're nothing but a hateful creep you call things "woke" all the time.
@@adriantrusca1245I don’t really like that 90s show, but how the hell is it woke?
