Aaaah.. the Animal Liberation WaxTrax! album. I still have the vinyl of this. Thx for sharing this historical video! So long ago. The artists on the record were deep supporters of the cause which is what made it so great. My personal favorite track on the album is Chris & Cosey's "Silent Cry".. with its subtle light keyboards and lush ambient soundscape, coupled with Cosey Fanni Tutti's delicate hushed whispering vocals, I remember the first time I heard it it gave me chills and made me cry. You could feel the pain and desperation a laboratory animal might experience .. truly amazing work the entire album and pretty much ALL the artists on the WaxTrax! Label... a special time of my life growing up industrial and gothic 😎

Its a total misperception the need for Slaughterhouse products and fish. I gave these up decades ago including cheese and eggs, in that time graded out for my Black Belt in Shotokan Karate, rode my custom built cycle up mountain climbs and terrible hills, did a Masters'Honours Degree and published several academic publications. I also gave over 50 Red X Blood Donations, never had any concern over anaemia!1 Never. But you must be smart in the transition... eat lots of nuts, some veggie burgers, brown rice and wholemeal San Remo sphagetti, various beans, mushrooms etc to ensure body is fed ample supply of red blood cells. My daughter is now in her 20s and was raised on a similar dietary regime. She is 2nd Dan and a Champion in Kyokushin Karate, travelling half the world in Tournaments.
