Thank you for this forgotten Beatle song. It's one of my favorites and not often played on the radio. I'm running to my guitar to learn this song...so much fun.
I want to thank you for showing me how to play these songs, I'm having as much fun as you are teaching them. A little joke when I'm with my wife and looking up a song, I say hey there's my pal ! I have a little set of songs I can sing and play now, Thank You !
You're musical integrity both playing and teaching is rare and appreciated. I like the way you make these songs your own and still leave the songs open for interpretation. Good job Buddy🎸
Dunno if you still check these. But these lessons and covers have been a massive help. Every time I think of a song I like or used to play and want a quick refresher this channel is here to help. Cheers for these pal.
What a nice and comfy video man! We're really with you on a sunday morning on the sofa learning this awesome lennon song. You really are the typical English lad, in a football jersey (and that Adidas sticker on the guitar!) all about football and brit rock! God save the Queen and the beatles (and the Premier league)! A great voice too! Thanx a million.
this lesson is great .. not only because this one of my favorite Beatle song .. but man you are amazing .. really . so talented and simple :D thank so much
Bravo, tutorial is exactly what it should be. Very concise and straight to the point. One question for everyone reading: There is an argument that the Fmaj7 is supposed to be Dm. I think the Fmaj7 sounds more correct but I would like to hear other opinions.
Yeah possibly. There are a few songs where it's debatable about whether the chord is Fmaj7 as opposed to Dm7 as they are very similar. To my ear it's an Fmaj7 there, but the Dm7 also sounds perfectly acceptable too. I'd say play whatever you like best.
Thanks for this, I've played this song for years and always played dm7, but when I sing over the chord it's always felt awkward, I've just tried fmaj7 like you said and it works perfect with this vocal now, I also incorporated that up strum on the Em chord, this polished the song for me thanks!!
THANK YOU so much man!!! really! you dont understand i checked you account as always and saw this and was like :O star struck or something thanks man most repsect as always :) 5 stars as always
@46singledad46 Mate - just take whatever chords you are happy with and play it the way it sounds best to you. That's what I do, whether it's right or wrong. :-)
KILLIN IT!!! great job!! one correction, in the first sequence, when it walks down to the am from the C, you forgot to mention that the second time around its a c, not a b7 great great lesson thanks
@georgiarose16 I know all of these chords except E7 (or did you say B7) and Cmajor7 and Fmajor7. What frets do you press on what strings, sorry to ask, just startin' out. Greta lesson,I'm learnin' this for sure. P.S.-I went through 2 other lessons on this before yours and the other guys had the same guitar w/ the same pickguard, any reason for that? If your curious, yours was the best of the 3,in my opinion.
All the master debaters in the comments section can just go do that, masterdebate😄 Great tutorial man, you got a dreamy voice, I loved this, I'm gonna learn it now! Thanks!
