It has to be said that those who give thumbs down for your tutorials and covers are complete knobheads. I say you have been very influential for me for the some songs i've learned from you.Keep up the good work georgiarose16 , and thank you.
Your are one of my go to's for a song lesson. Learning a new old song is such a great feeling. Thanks for making me smile and adding a new tune to my cerebral juke box.
I know you are from the Land of them and I'm from the Land of the best coffee in the World, this is one of the best songs of the fanrastics four and you are a great teacher, so, with respect, I wish I could take a cup of coffee with you and some day play all this beautiful songs that I have listened for decades, thank you very, very, very much Man and you are a great teacher again. Orlando, from Colombia... : )
I honestly cannot thank you enough for taking your time to make these videos. You have helped out my guitar playing so much. Thanks again and please keep the tutorials coming.
Great lesson, still working on the intro bit. You've got a great sense of rhythm. Have been listening to this song for over fifty years and can now play it. Thanks. So for me, one good thing has come from social distancing.

I have the same problem as you do singing McCartney...he sings higher than me and I sound "screechy" in the same octave that he sings in. I don't know if "stetching your range with practice is possible or not. I have the same prob singing John Fogarty too because his range is identical to McCartney's. That's what really bugs me cos I'd love to be able to sing Fogarty. I'm a solo act currently and Fogarty's stuff is perfect for "un-plugged" shows, although MOST acoustics these days feature electronics for amplification, we all understand what "un-plugged" means lol
Great lesson, I was mainly looking for pointers on the intro but the whole thing was helpful. One thought, do they perhaps play a CMaj7 coming into the "you're not the same" line?
Possibly bring it down to G / no capo , people will know it’s in G# second fret capo. You may be able to sing better a half step lower. The chord voicing will be the same , just add capo first fret ...
+georgiarose16. Glad I found your video. It's one of my favorites. Not being able to read music, I usually have to play songs in my head & figure out chords, or watch a little bit in concert video's, which is tricky since the cameramen usually aren't focused on the playing....
When goes to the.end of the chorus where G and C go back and forth “but you’re nowhere “🎵🎵 does anybody know that clashie bit on the G ? What is that? Bomp Bomp riff Bomp Bomp riff What notes are in the Bomp Bomp ?
Nice way of using the acoustic chords. However, you really should use visual chord diagrams like others use on You Tube, and every else. I am getting back into it, after not playing for a few years...... Beginners couldn't make heads or tails of your lessons! Ca-poo boy.
actually its pretty damn spot on, and even if it wasnt, why would i want to play it exactly the way the beatles played it? music is all about personal interpretation.
Ca--po boy, you need to show t0iose chord changes much more slowly!!! Beginners will not be able to keep up, regardless of what they say!! And show the chord diagrams ( fingering) so they can rewind, rewind and rewind(remind) till they get it correct!!
great lesson you made it possible to play one of my favorite beatles songs. enjoyed it very much
This guy is a Beatle guitarist legend!! His videos are easy to follow & sound amazing

Love your pearling mate. And thanks for saving me so much time!
The way you play the intro is reminiscent of The End Of The Line by the traveling Wilburys
Well it alright

Great lesson. I learned the song from this video. Thanks!

Good teacher.
Great lesson, I was mainly looking for pointers on the intro but the whole thing was helpful. One thought, do they perhaps play a CMaj7 coming into the "you're not the same" line?

Hey great lesson! I have a question, when George does the solo part, is he using a capo too? Thanks.
What bone-headed idiot would dislike this?!?!? This is probably the only video with step by step intrsuction
Georgiarose16 Thankyou soo much your videos are the best, especially loved this one :D
thanks
Thank you!!!
Me too. I'd bring some great chips and yea, a video recorder would be a must. I'd drive him crazy saying, begging play it again, play it again. lol

Sure would appreciate Photograph by Ringo/George
Kindly brought to you by Adidas, Impossible is nothing.
Tu sonnes Garçon , nickel !
Hannibal Lecter sings Beatles xD
whats the chord before am???????
+Gene Wiltshire Relative to the capo - it's G/B Major - {x 2 0 0 3 3}. If you follow strict musical notes, it's G#/C Major.
Nice way of using the acoustic chords. However, you really should use visual chord diagrams like others use on You Tube, and every else. I am getting back into it, after not playing for a few years...... Beginners couldn't make heads or tails of your lessons! Ca-poo boy.
Why would you put a sticker on that beautiful J-200?
It’s his he can do what he wants
Why the fuck would you put an Adidas sticker on a Epiphone.. :|
Chromic-6 Maybe he likes Adidas? Paul McCartney has a Detroit Red Wings sticker on his Epiphone...
+Chromic-6 because of Noel Gallagher
Strumming needs work mate!
the addidas sticker on his guitar annoys me
Nice try, but not the correct intro lick and strum.
actually its pretty damn spot on, and even if it wasnt, why would i want to play it exactly the way the beatles played it? music is all about personal interpretation.
Not when teaching a Beatles tune as he professes.
The intro is just moving the D formation down to second fret. Beyond that the rhythm is All WRONG ! It’s not a shuffle tune.
Ca--po boy, you need to show t0iose chord changes much more slowly!!! Beginners will not be able to keep up, regardless of what they say!! And show the chord diagrams ( fingering) so they can rewind, rewind and rewind(remind) till they get it correct!!
