Well done Toyota. I saw one of these in the parking lot the other day and it looks very impressive in person. Thank you Toyota so much for offering this with a 6-speed manual. People, jump on that manual while you can. When you look at the Avalon TRD, Camry TRD and this Corolla Apex you realize how much Toyota has stepped up their game and being Toyotas mean these cars are going to continue to keep running long into the future. The immediate future is looking bright especially with the Corolla GR around the corner. We are looking at the golden age of the internal combustion engine. Word to the wise, if you like any of these cars, find a way to get one more sooner than later especially if you want it to have a warranty because there is coming a time, very soon, when these types of cars will no longer be available.
I’ll give them this, they’re actually making the Corolla more visually appealing. I didn’t care how reliable they were I just didn’t like the way that they looked. That is clearly changing for the better.
Given the success of the Corolla Apex Editions, I think it's safe to say that this is going to be a standard trim level moving forward. Sorta like how the Honda Civic Type R is carried into their 11th Gen Civics
Wow the amount of people complain about hp. Not sure what the speed limit is where they are from. This is a beautiful vehicle and more reliable then the competition. Can't wait for mine to be delivered.
The Apex costs up to about 28k MSRP and has 169 HP. A Civic EX runs up about 25k with 180 HP. And if you wanted the added accessories you can just get a Sport Touring Civic which runs about 28k while still holding to 180 HP.

@@braetonwilson4296 if you're gonna try to give us some performance looks we want some actual performance from the cars specs, this apex goes to 0-60 in 7.3 seconds which is laughably slow, especially when we considered the brz/86 slow at 6.2 seconds. They should put the camry engine's 2.5l in this and it should really wake it up
@@goodfeather16 Physical first gear makes all the difference. I would choose the CVT with the physical first gear over the problematic 8 speed automatic in the Camry.
