The double x was revolutionary at the time. It was a good car Gil Losi pretty much designed the rc10 while developing the JRX. The double x is so unrecognized an underrated. The double x hit the track before the B2 and it was awesome and went on to win the worlds. It's probably the most underrated and unrecognized vintage RC car. Vintage RC is all about the rc10 but it's also losi in its infancy. Gil Losi designed the rc10 for J Halsey they had an agreement Halsey renigg so Gill losi and Gill junior went back to the table and designed the double x and the rest is history. Team Associated took inspiration from the double x and developed the b2 but the b2 wasn't completely so Associated developed the b3 and it was more competitive and more up to double x level and was able to compete again
Great to still see video's of the XX. I am rebuilding mine almost in mint condition.
It's a beautiful classic!

Thank you for the historic information.
never grease a cvd ..... i use wax because it does not attract dirt
We always maintain our racing cars universals/cvd with with sparingly applied grease. What wax do you use?
