Shortly after I got my first (and so far only) Tier X (P.1101), I ran into a clan mate on Red in a specialized F-86A. It only took me one time to learn I could not turn with him, LOL. I've started playing with Resilience (on my Ki-43-II w/7 point pilot). I like it because it improves the cool down rate when it kicks in, and if there's one thing I hate about the Ki line (at least the Ki-43s), it's the cannons and their overheat cycle. I've been using the pneumatic assist as well since I've seen you use it many times - my biggest problem there is that 9 out of 10 times I forget I have it mounted LOL.
If you can post a guide to how I can rip or extract World of Warplanes models, please do. I need the Focke Wulf FW190 A-8 and J7W3 Shinden. The reason is so that it save me time from reconstructing it from scratch in Blender.
Polished skin, huh? I recently specialized my FJ-1 and went for polished skin.. Then I took a bad beating from an unspecialized P.1092.. Off it goes and I’m going to try reinforced airframe to see if I can keep the sweet maneuverability that I was used to. Just felt like the polished skin made a fool out of me😫 Hope you’re doing well sir i7
As Pakistanis, we also have some love for the Saber. With you using the radio equipment, I am now intrigued to try it as well. But my question is, why did you not use the uprated engine and instead put in the gas turbine?
I used the gas turbine simply because the bonus roll increased the engine cool down time. It allows me to boost more often and keep up with heavies when I need too!
Do you mean if I'm in a straight line behind do I wait until a closer distance? With machine guns yes, cannons not really. In a turn engagement when I know my machine guns are close enough I actually fire sooner so the hit immediately
So how many battles did you have to suffer before you got a tier X battle that did not have any EF-131 bombers? When I play in the morning (EST) the norm unfortunately is that I get shafted by the EF-131 being on the red team with no way to counter it's OPness and will lose. No matter how fun the F-86A is to fly, and I do agree it is a very fun fighter to use, the fact that I get screwed by players "cheesing" the win by flying the EF-131 is a huge deterrent to me playing tier X at all anymore.
Well keep in mind I am in that other WoWp NA server. This was my third battle of the day, none had human bomber pilots in them. First battle was a super stomp, unremarkable. Second I had to duel an FJ-1 and Yak-19 out of existence. This was the third and showcased some flexibility
@@PostalMonkey @Postal Monkey I woke up very early this morning and jumped on the NA server at 4:35 am EST and got 2 all bot battles in my F-86A and had great fun. Then the 3rd battle was against the unfortunate pair of "Cheesy" (EF-131) and "Sleezy" (XF-90) (I politely observe the no naming and shaming rule so no player names here) for which I immediately bailed out before it started, went down to tier VIII to work on my dailies high tier parts, and never tried tier X again. These 2 morning players flight up all the time and mostly fly these 2 planes which absolutely destroys any attempt to have some tier X fun. Why even bother to play tier X when I get them on the red team and immediately know it's a loss. So I mutter "f*** this battle" to myself knowing how unfair and unsporting they are all the time, and go elsewhere (
After watching this, AND Dr. Felton's video on German planes in Japanese service, I thought I'd revisit my J8M build. ua-cam.com/video/4qtBGOteN1A/v-deo.html I do kind of wonder if there's a reliable way to measure stealth effectiveness in-game, though? My concealment is at 35.4% on the J8M with this equipment, I just wish there was a way to find out if I actually surprised anyone (humans). Maybe inattention from the bots is the most effective measurement, though.
The f 86 is an excellent air superiority fighter. It is balanced by the fact that its a bit weak against bombers and GA's...although you did just fine against them in this video. I woukdn't want to line up behind an ef 131.
Considering leaving war thunder after all the time & effort I put into it, the evil snail really screws players over, & they make it worse if you spend any money on it, I'm tired of the suffering, I remembered this game want to know if it's any better, if it even still has an active player base, & are the devs involved in improving any possible issue there may be
WoWp is arcade, let that be known. You have some respawn opportunities and the game play is more simplistic. That being said, it's very noob friendly while still having a high enough skill ceiling to be fun to veterans. The graphics are great and the sound is spot on. The community is small, no doubt. But it is supportive and any toxicity is minimal. The grinds are not cumbersome, you will still earn credits at tier X, but I may take you a little white to get there

I think that I read on wikipedia about the Sabre that there was version of it with 20 mm cannons. I need that one !

Great question, because I was able to roll the engine cool down Ultimate, the boost is almost always available when I want it
