I’m not usually a fan of secret baby romances, but Jessie did a wonderful job on Louise and Ty’s story. I love the connection they have. This is a great story!

Thank you, Rachael, and I agree - I'm so amazed at how Jessie can take an idea like a "secret baby" romance, and come up with such a unique and wonderful story each and every time!

Fascinated by these clean Christian romancesI can see Ty's Mom, working to stay busy because she is an artist/craftsman; and because she wants to work. But... you would think a big-time, well-known, successful champion hockey player could and would help supplement his mother's income/living!

This book really was incredible. It was better than I could’ve imagined. A wonderful second chance, surprise child romance. I absolutely loved these characters and getting to know more of Sweet Water. I’m super pumped for Ford’s story and eagerly anticipating Georgia’s!
Audio addition: This book had the most physical romance (still very clean) of any I’ve heard Dyess read. I was very impressed at how it came across. As always, an audio that caused me to continue to listen (even though I read it earlier this year) rather switch to reading a new book.

In 9 years, Louise has never made a decision that put herself first. In 9 years,Ty has never made a decision that didn’t put himself first. Can a Ty ever put anyone first on a consistent basis? I don’t see a basic life change for Ty.

  • @kayfrank4696

How much do you forgive a man who has made promises, left you a 17 pregnant teenager and never considered that his actions had consequences that significantly affected your life and unlikely for the better. She should have told him to find another co-chair. I would have told him he had a daughter and owed back child support . Ty didn’t come back for Louise or even to apologize but because his agent wanted him to go low profile. Ty doesn’t suddenly get a conscience or put any one ahead of his self interests. His character doesn’t ring true.

After you read the 1st book in the series where Palmer gets $500,000 million after taxes, this story doesn’t make sense. When this book starts, Louise who is Palmers sister shouldn’t be working herself to death if her brother with whom she lives has $500 million! Grandma is not doing the back breaking work of jarring tomatoes and canning corn!! Sawyer, their brother, should have a house and workers on his land, if Palmer has $500 million. PLUS One guy dies and is giving 3 people in the same family a billion dollars each???? No.
