Thank you for this video, I had never thought of this voice cloning option. I use the upload to remix musical creations but the idea of cloning your own voice is excellent, I will try, thank you again !
sometimes it gives me my exact voice, sometimes very similar and sometimes different, I guess they will get how to make it more controllable in a near future
I recommend to take out the stems from Suno och Udio, and clone (record app 15-20 min) your voice in audimee then convert original vocals (after some clean up), the put it together your voice in the vocal stems with the rest stems and do a mix, it become almost perfect.
I find it hilarious that you’re willing to put in this much work but at the same time claim that actually making music and putting your heart and soul into it is too much effort.
It's just a shame that your own voice is always so metallic and therefore not real, but directly recognizable as an AI-generated voice, which then makes the song unusable. And since Suno doesn't keep the vocals separate from the music (i.e. in two files, from the beginning), when the vocals are separated from the music, clearly audible vocals still remain on the music file and music on the vocals file, which makes the whole song completely unusable for further editing.
I separete stems in the song I made with ai v4 modell song Then I remix the instrumental with v4 again and then second time and the instrumental is nearly free from vocals
Thanks for the video, it helps with the information. I've done 3 on Suno extend at 0.5 seconds and each voice was way different. Udio with 1 so far uploaded sounds closer so far. I'm testing on the trial plan.
You're welcome. Thank you for watching! Makes sense to test things out on the trial plan. Gives you an idea of what your results will be before paying for a full subscription.
I am soooo glad that I am not the only one who can't sing! But beside the fact that my ears are now bleeding, I liked the throurough way you described each step you had to take. Some instructors in videos ofter assume too much from their audience and in the end half of them disn't understand anything due to one missing step, while the other half irs bored to death. Well, thats the way life goes. thx
you have to use [tags] in lyrics and put things into the music styles. Also use a 'style' that matches your accent. Like if you are Canadian you'd write a style of 'Canadian accent,' and similar in the music styles box. You missed a huge chunk of what this software can do by not manually making adjustments and tweaking the software. Also in the samples you upload with Suno, make sure the 'lyrics' in the description box match the lyrics in the sound file perfectly. You can get quite creative.
Instead of creating lyrics in Chat GTP, write some clever ones by your own. You will be schocked, what Suno can do in regards to creativity, Lyrik/Arrangement balance and out of the Box Thinking (up to the, Id say, 5. Generation) when it has something "real" to work for. Its a differnece to the ordinary in its generations like...lets say "Apples and Oranges" to "The Large Particle Collider underneth Cern." You helped me, I help you ;-)
So at the beginning you said to clone in Suno than upload to Udio, but given how it played, would your suggestion be to do the opposite, start in udio and then in Suno?
In the video, I mentioned that Udio doesn’t allow real-time audio recording, while Suno does. Instead of having to record yourself outside the platform and then upload the audio, you can use Suno to record live. Afterward, simply download the recording and upload it to Udio. In short, start with Suno, then upload to Udio.
Which AI Music Generator has the longest upload allowance. I have full songs with raw audio takes but so far Suno only allows 120 seconds with paid subscription.
Suno is excellent at composition, including great capabilities in extending. The technical sound quality is not great. But if you're a band that plays live, Suno can help you make songs that you then can perform better than it does. Udio delivers much higher technical quality. But it's poor at extending, often produces random garbage (like a studio recording of a bad high school band). I use Suno to extend, then I create stems and sometimes "remix" them in Udio. You can think of Remix as an "creative upscaler" for audio. Udio also has a nice option that Suno lacks - extending before the start, for intros. But again, it's mostly garbage, musically. So Udio is like a glorified "filter". Suno isn't so feature-packed and lacks some fancy UI options, but it's great at creating new pieces of music, at following lyrics very well, and at extending clips musically. If Suno were a singer, it would be like a great musical brain with not-so-capable voice. Udio is like a singer that has a well-trained strong voice, but is poor at ideas & at understanding of music.
Well, I think Udio "composes" much better, but intelligently, I don't know if the language interferes in something, but in Portuguese it sounds great. Unlike Suno who writes very generic, like a poor poet.
Suno is morphing your voice into something else. For people who can actually sing it would be great if it used their voice without adding effects and morphing the tone of the voice. The only one that sounded sort of like you was the rap version.
You can't remove a singers voice, but you can use your singing voice as long as the clip is no more than 60. This would have to be uploaded as a new clip.
I sed ''pop'' as the genre for both AI song generators. Didn't want to give one an advantage over the other during this comparison. It's possible though Udio may require a bit more prompting in order to achieve a comparable result to Suno.
from what i can tell with udio if you just use your voice.. it only uses the voice.. and will not give music.. or rare like the problem you had the music starts slow at the end of the track.. so i tend to stick with suno these days.. shame as i prefer the separation for stems way better on udio than they are on suno.
I think that you restricted udio’s creativity too much by having the similarity so low, should have started with the slider at 50%. You can see that Suno had much more creative freedom by how much it changed your voice
qualitywise Suno is still so full of artefacts, makes no sense to use at all. Udio is a bit better but also you can hear always who created it. Spotify will soon block these creations
Lol. You're using both Suno and Udio wrong... Suno...NEVER extend at 1 second as it TOTALLY IGNORES the rest of file. It's the same as uploading a 1 sec file. Udio - NEVER remix 2 mins from a 1 min file as it'll remix silence into silence for the missing last min. It's not a quirk - user error 😂
I think daw also somehow is digital made just as ai and ai will just be an development of it. Or what is music? Just sing and play on a homemade intrument? The digital is fine to work with in the art of music for over 60 years. Ai is also an "instrument" just as my daw musicworkstation. Today with songai like Suno has never been more fun and ai make possibilities for everyone to try it through ai. Better than just watching tv or play games Here you actually can make an more or less song by your premesis.
This process is so incredible to watch, love how you take us through every step, suno’s really slaying!

Appreciate the tip! Will try this.

well RVC-ing the damn thing is not what we really want today do we?

wow awesome, i subscribed

😂Guess I'll stick to singing in the shower.
Nice Explanation of how to use this feature. I like Suno but the Vocal Bit Rate needs to be increased for Clearer Vocals. And not AI Sounded
Thank you. Good point!

Thanks for sharing these tips!
Is there a way in Udio to add music to your acapella song? Thanks.
There's no direct way just yet. Wouldn't be surprised if it gets added in the future because it's a common feature request.

Definitely open to feedback or help! Makes sense that when you have control over your lyrics instead of ChatGPT the output is better.

Great video

Dude, you sound just like me! 😄 6:03
BTW...your voice is perfect for Country! 😉👍
Awesome, lol! Thanks :)

Love your interpretation. Both have strengths and opportunities and you summed them up nicely. Thanks!

Can you take a sample of a real song so it will clone an existing artists voice?
Neither Suno or Udio will clone existing artists voices and it's against their terms of service.
In suno, can we remove the singer's voice and sing instead? Or can we record our voice for more than 60 seconds?
You can't remove a singers voice, but you can use your singing voice as long as the clip is no more than 60. This would have to be uploaded as a new clip.
🌹🙏
You can download the stems and mix them together leaving out the voice stem, or am I wrong?
@@rustyshaffer Correct. You can download the stems leaving out the vocal stem.
Suno is outstanding and new aimodell v4 is even better - why sit behand the tv whe you can have SUNO time
"There is a whole bunch of other options to choose from, some are completely free" WHICH ONES!???
The features shown in this video are part of a subscription. I use the base paid plans.
I am a rapper and I like using my voice. I much prefer Suno for this. Thanks for the review.
You're welcome :)
Suno would be perfect if it had the quality of UDio, and wasn't so generic in the lyrics, a version of both would be a perfect AI
Only a matter of time before a company picks up on this and delivers an AI song generator with the best of Suno and Udio. Competition is good!
I think Udio didn't performed that well because you did't select any prompt or genre as you did in Suno
I sed ''pop'' as the genre for both AI song generators. Didn't want to give one an advantage over the other during this comparison. It's possible though Udio may require a bit more prompting in order to achieve a comparable result to Suno.

My experience was the same as yours. In Discord other users are reporting the same thing. In time this should improve.
I think that you restricted udio’s creativity too much by having the similarity so low, should have started with the slider at 50%. You can see that Suno had much more creative freedom by how much it changed your voice
I went back to Udio and tried it again with the slider at 50% - same results. Can absolutely hear the difference when Suno adds it's creative flair.
qualitywise Suno is still so full of artefacts, makes no sense to use at all. Udio is a bit better but also you can hear always who created it. Spotify will soon block these creations

Suno worked better
