Definitely. I'm just a hobbyist. I could never afford studio time, session players with this level of chops, and competent engineer/producers... this is amazing.
I discovered Suno a few days ago and I’m using V4, which is noticeably better than V3.5. I have lots of ideas but I’ve never studied music or mastered any instrument; to me, Suno is an instrument worth mastering and with the help of tutorials like yours, I’m sure things will only get better.
been writing lyrics, story's since i was 13 yrs old (1984), i've tried creating lyrics with ai, but it doesn't feel right. AI can't express real feelings in lyrics. Also give the metatag [breakdown] a try.
JUST ONE QUESTION: At 12:50 you made a beautiful blues song in the style of BB King or John Lee Hooker. How did SUNO respond to your using the artist's names? Or how did you convey the idea without names? This is exactly the style of music I want to emulate.
I didn't use any artists name to create the song played at this point of the video. Only specified "Blues" as the genre. I mentioned BB King and John Lee Hooker because I felt the song captured their vibe.
@@cmwilliams357 You're welcome. I have an existing video which explains uploading audio to Suno, yet it also covers Udio as well. Here's a link to the video...ua-cam.com/video/bVOpsRg4MuM/v-deo.html
Spotify basically killed traditional bands with their introduction of $0.003 per stream model. You just can't split that 5 ways very easily lol. It's nice that AI is making it easier for individual artists to still create music.
I made an entire video about uploading a cappella audio and creating songs from it. If you're interested here's a link to the video...ua-cam.com/video/bVOpsRg4MuM/v-deo.html
Major issue is that you can't own or commercially use the music if you stop subscription and that's purely against the laws. Because once you pay and produce, by paying for the service, it should become yours forever. But here Suno stops you from that. One can understand they can not issue copyright may be they have used some music pieces from some songs in past. But they should allow produced music to be yours and not keep licensed as theirs.
thanks for the video and these videos are always nice to watch. when I use the audio upload thing, I can extend it up to 120 seconds and suno has probably updated the length 🍫☕
The crop/ selection feature in Udio is much better in Suno on the ipad I cannot pull on the grey bar without it pulling the screen, even tried with a physical keyboard holding shift then pull… still pulls the screen
You can amend lyrics in Suno's Song Replace Section area, be aware that it can be somewhat misleading. There are two options: "Edit Song Details" and "Replace Section." Only the "Replace Section" feature will allow you to edit the lyrics effectively. You'll get to try two different versions before you need to confirm your changes. From my experience, you might need to generate four or more attempts before Suno accurately changes the lyrics to what you've specified.
How can i make it so it sings a single word only at the beginning of each bar. For example: 1.Heyyyyyy 2.--------3.---------4.------------ 5. Heyyyyy 6.---------7.---------8.----------- 9. Heyyyyyy
I've experimented with something written in the lyrics along the lines of Hey... Hey... Hey... Takes a couple of generation attempts but you should be able to get it close to what you're looking for.
PLEASE HELP ME GUYS! I wanna remaster a song that i’ve done with a different profile then my main account (where i have a paid subscription with the V4) but i can’t see the “get the whole song” option that i see with others people song in the app home. I’ve made the song public with the other account, but still i don’t see the option. U need another subscription in the other account? Or there’s a way without it? Please let me know 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 thanks a lot
Find the song in your library, click the three dots on the right, click Edit Details. A new box will pop up where you can make edits to your song including the lyrics. When done click submit.
Hey 👋! You’re doing a great job with the tutorials on Suno! I have a question: once I’ve created a melody on Suno and it has been transformed into an instrumental, is it possible to import a voice or another melody and incorporate it over this instrumental that was just created in Suno?
Thank you! I appreciate you watching my videos :) As far as I'm aware, one cannot layer an imported voice on top of an instrumental created in Suno just yet. An alternative workaround would be to specify the style of music, instruments, etc., when creating a track with an imported vocal to make it sound like the instrumental you created. It won't be perfect, but with a few tries, it might work out.
@@MasterAIFast Hi, 👋 Thanks for your response! Is it possible to create a tutorial on the alternative you suggested for harmonizing an imported voice with an instrumental in Suno? Thank you!
Yes! I just made a video about it. If interested here's a link to the video Suno AI Brand NEW Update: Everything You Need to Know ua-cam.com/video/zVxH9Qd7bZk/v-deo.html
They already have. Here's how to edit lyrics in Suno AI 1. Find the song you want to edit in your library 2. Click the 3 dots 3. Hover over "Edit" 4. Click on "Song Details" This will show a pop up where you can edit the lyrics without creating a new song.
Suno will be useable when they get rid of the auto tune on everything and the stem separation actually separates, they are mush at the moment, it is a usable tool for ideas, as a musician I've taken output and rerecord it, then mastered and released, but, not everyone is a musician, the lyrics from AI generally are beyond terrible, the guitar solos are also very fake sounding and generic, on the plus points, generation is fast and it's a great composition tool
Carmba, parece eu falando! Exatamente assim. No meu caso transformo em midi, e faço minha brincadeira, inclusive mudando de tom e se for o caso até colocar uma nova letra.
I like the new premium options but I still work my way: take a song I like, extend from the time I want, vocal remove, work everything in my DAW an repeat if it's necessary. I managed to have nice songs in that way.
I have some quaries regarding suno ...pls reply 1. The prompt don’t work really - it’s so off , seems like it’s a limited sample bank with some mixing I’ve heeded the same compression side chains and fx , beats etc - it’s just a sample bank to me from my limited credit review
You can use the Exclude Styles feature to specify "male vocal" to ensure a mans voice is never used in a song creation and vice versa with a woman's voice.
I have had luck doing META tags like [MALE VOICE] then [FEMALE VOICE] (inside the song, not in style or anything) but as everything else in SUNO..it's like a 60/40 gamble.
One further thing...to help "encourage" SUNO, sometimes I will put the metatag in TWICE back-to-back. [MALE VOICE] [MALE VOICE] And as I was typing that just now... it reminded me of something else...try putting words or phrases in ALLCAPS or (in parenthesis) and even sometimes with 'no' metatag whatsoever...the engine sees them differently but HOW it performs them is up to SUNO. Trial and error - and also roll the dice...this whole A.I. thing is NOT perfect (yet)
Already use Suno, but great tutorial. Nice, calm narrative and straight to the point.

As a songwriter I prefer to add my melody or idea raw and let the app produce music idea and so far imo it’s like having your own session players.

Wanted to know if I can upload my own music to Suno and then I type in my lyrics and Suno provides me the vocalist?
