Great tutorial PIXXO! I really liked that trick with the material to add more detail to the ocean! Also thanks for the shoutout at the beginning, I appreciate it!
I just finished this exact scene on my own and now I see this tutorial just dropped. My scene was such a constant struggle I really could've used these tips earlier. Great Tutorial nonetheless!
use alt D when duplicating - it creates an instance, so any modifications to the original will update the copies also. Plus it reduces render stress for very large oceans.
Thank you for this excellent tutorial on creating a ocean scene and thank you Batuhan13 for creating the model and allowing us to download it for free.
@@lucan42 A quick Google search will tell you that water is slightly blue even without reflecting the sky. You can't see it in a glass - it has to be a lot of water.
Very clever solution for the camera movement! BTW you may already be aware but there is a great free Sketchfab import addon that brings models into your scene with a click or two.
Many thanks for the great tutorial. Super fun to follow. Tall me, could I simply attach a Mixamo fbx humanoid animation in the waves instead of a "static" model, so that a dude is bobbing up and down in the water whilst animating its movement too?
Amazing tutorial. One question: I am trying to replicate this, but in your final video, the normal map seems to be alive, while in my video it looks completely still (althougn the ocean modifier is working), it is not realistic at all. Did I miss something?
trying to learn blender as well .do u have any videos of u creating a island with this realistic water movements and moving it over to ue5? am new to blender
hey, i know you probably wont reply but is there a way you can make this with a fluid sim? ive gotten to the point where the object interacts with the water but the object doesent get affected by it
I just need to know how to add my green screen footage to the boat. lets say someone sitting on the ledge of the boat. im just so confused with all the tracking
Thanks for sharing this tutorial! It's really amazing! I'm enciuntering an issue when I render that I see the lines where the ocean planes meet. What can I do to alleviate this? Thank you!
Awesome tutorial, very well done, love the ocean surface looks great. rendering on a Ryzen 64 core 128 thread workstation with 256 gig ram, it's a new system 2 yrs old, learning blender, the Maya, Lightwave, 3dMax programs are getting to costly, and out dated, and blender is getting to be a Steam Roller of a Program. Also using the new RTX3080 GPU , frames rendering at 40 sec a frame no to bad actually have to re-render using the CPU's out of curiosity to see if 128 cores will do it faster. what do you think of the Flip Fluids add-on ??? been tinkering with Blender and learning Blender, it's a tad different from the other Programs I am use to using, it's the keyboard shortcuts I need to learn. but anyways Thank you for the great video.
24:40 If you press i on the camera, the warning message "Keeping set failed to insert any keyframes" appears. how to fix it? and How did you add the sound?
Hi Pixxo need your help am following your tutorial...but is there anyway I can auto bob my boat according to the ocean modifier used ?I have added a follow path curve so that my boat model will follow the path and have bobbing motion according to the waves etc. And how make sure the ocean does not over lap the boat....Cause I'm getting this weird clipping when the boat slightly sinks in the ocean. p.s English is not my first language
i have a problem -_- I followed every steps but in texture i choose the 4k.. when i tried to render it via animation it only render 1 frame only is their anyone know the reason why?
Yeah, so I notice the same issue with your boat as I have been trying to fix. The water appears to pass throught the boat and turns up in the boat. One thing I have tried is a boolean, with a second boat shape, to cut the boat hull out of the water, but I am still trying to get that to work properly. Anyone else solve that issue?
Great tutorial PIXXO! I really liked that trick with the material to add more detail to the ocean! Also thanks for the shoutout at the beginning, I appreciate it!
Thank you too ... Was a great technique
Nicee

SAME!!
And I also used dynamic paint to make the wake with the same boat, and made the boat move.
Blender sucks.
Followed this to a t and it all came out wondefully! Brilliant and thank you this was so awesome :)
4:36 i love that windows logo
Thank you so much for this! Your teaching style is great and easy to follow. This is my first animation!
thanks for sharing your tutorial :)
Oh looks awesome
This tutorial is gold, thank you brother.
Wow great tutorial, i am compleatly new to blender and easely could follow. Thanks!!
that is incredible
I didn’t know about that tap in animation I defended needed it
Great tutorial man.
Great tutorial i've ever watched!

Another great tutorial and congratulations on the 100,000 subscribers. Well done!
Thanks man!
Help me a lot!
Thank you so much for making this video because I am working on a model boat a will definingly need water
thank you❤
Thanks man really love it

Great contribution. Great tutorial. You have my like
Thank you so much. Greetings
Congratulations for 100 k subscribers✨✨🧡🧡
Thanks
LOVE IT!!
Amazing...
Great tutorial. Thanks! 👍✌
Extremely informative. Thanks!!! ✌
Great as always 💯
Nice vid. Well done.
Very nice! Just one thing: Water does actually have a slight blue/turquoise color all on its own, so what you did was realistic.
isn't that just caused by reflecting the sky?
@@lucan42 A quick Google search will tell you that water is slightly blue even without reflecting the sky. You can't see it in a glass - it has to be a lot of water.
Fantastic tutorial! Thanks a bunch 🙏
thx for tutorial
amazing thanks you so much

Great work 🥳 Thank you 💜
Efsane ders olmuş.
Where is the foam? You need the foam. ☺
Amazing
hey theres a handy addon called camera shakify made by ian hubert which automatically adds some shake to your camera
Many thanks for the great tutorial. Super fun to follow. Tall me, could I simply attach a Mixamo fbx humanoid animation in the waves instead of a "static" model, so that a dude is bobbing up and down in the water whilst animating its movement too?
You can parent things to vertices also
A W E S O M E ♥️
Thi Big steps for me🤩🤩🤩

Hello, I'm having a problem after working in the shading workspace. When I render, the ocean looks very pink. Does anybody have a solution for this?
Fank you 😜

what do you think of the Flip Fluids add-on ???
been tinkering with Blender and learning Blender, it's a tad different from the other Programs I am use to using, it's the keyboard shortcuts I need to learn.
but anyways Thank you for the great video.
aaand... In the case of my ship have some animations attached how can i put them inside of the empty objct?
Hi how do you loop the ocean animation
bro why my camera is not following a grid ?
The water can be seen inside my boat but great tutorial though.
when i switch to the material preview the boat don't have texture i followed all the steps what to do ?
sorry, I skip through the video, so forgive my hastiness... how can I prevent the inner boat from "flooding"? would boolean works??
24:40 If you press i on the camera, the warning message "Keeping set failed to insert any keyframes" appears. how to fix it? and How did you add the sound?

p.s English is not my first language
Sorry I should have added that you can then just add a Follow Path constraint to the shrink wrapped object
Would be more real if it had some foam?
How to adjust the camera.
i have a problem -_- I followed every steps but in texture i choose the 4k.. when i tried to render it via animation it only render 1 frame only is their anyone know the reason why?
What kind of specs you need to render something like this
.blend download for this?
how many hours does it take to finish the render?

yeah thats i was thinking too.. i was expecting that he explaine how to fix this problem.. but nothink :(
bro I need your help
Bro when i click on play button... Preview not working, not showing ocean waves🥲
Checkpoint 17:36

у меня с камерой не получилось(
not sure what slash none of them work
how come nobody did a fishing simulator game with that kind of waves? wtf? all fishing sim games water physics are a JOKE.
if anyone knws a video from actual instructor plese post link here
i had this working before wtf am i doing wrong
noob noob
