First, you are the best solo rpger on UA-cam. You use the best tools available to you, crossing board game materials with rpg stuff, and your constant focus on narrative is so good. I always anticipate your next video posting of one of these play throughs in particular. Second, thanks for finally doing Black Hack. I love 1st edition, not as crazy about 2nd edition though. The OSR simplicity of the original is somewhat lost in the 2nd edition, with too much “chrome” and details for my taste. The basic mechanic in Black Hack is perfect for solo play, I agree.
@Matthew Kirkhart Thank you so very much for those kind words! I really appreciate it. I've not had a look at the first edition of TBH but I shall now so I can see what you're talking about. To me the 2e was pretty stripped down... but I've nothing to compare it with. Thanks for watching and commenting. I really appreciate it.
Really wonderful system.. I'm totally going to be running a version of this soon, probably By this Axe I Hack or the Black Sword Hack for a fix of Swords and Sorcery.
Probably, the weather table works like this: 1-5 the weather is the result you had 6-8, the weather is "Bright and pleasantly warm" if it's your first time throwing or +1 the last result you made.
Yes, but the issue is that if I roll a five as I did and then I add a plus one to the previous roll I keep getting back to the plus one to the previous roll. I’m still confused but maybe I misunderstand what you are suggesting.
@@GeekGamers01 The spirit of the 6-8 result seems to be "the weather incrementally worsens" so if you're already at the worst weather listed on the table, I'd say it stays the same.
Fantastic, as usual. If you ever continue with this, maybe you could incorporate stuff from The Sword Hack? It's a setting for The Black Hack based on Elric of Melniboné (best character ever created, in my humble opinion).
@alejotm000 I didn’t know of THE SWORD HACK but will investigate, thanks. I’ve been desperately trying to get hands on the Elric novels to no avail thus far.... thanks for the comment and suggestion!
Firstly, thank you so much for this episode. It was very informative as well as a pleasure to watch. With regards to that "Warhammer Travelling Hazards" table, in which publication would I find it? I recognise it but at present it escapes me! Thank you, yet again, for an amazing episode.
Oh so glad you liked this vid. I remember enjoying filming it. I’m sorry tho that I cannot recall where that table came from. I have a big binder of supporting Warhammer things, the origins of most of them lost to time. Maybe an internet search of the phrase would turn it up? Thanks for watching & commenting
Hi, I was just wondering what the world map is in this video ua-cam.com/video/kaCM-QQwBQA/v-deo.html ? Sorry I would have asked there but comments are turned off. Thank you for the wonderful content by the way!

@@GeekGamers01Only a pleasure. Thank you, again.
What was that "role play wallet" with the card sized tables?
I’ve done a vid on it: ua-cam.com/video/kaCM-QQwBQA/v-deo.html
Another Gem shown the light of day!
Nice ! I’ve been wanting to try it out!
I really enjoyed it. Want to find some more stuff for it too. Really easy to use.
What Travelling Hazards tables product are you using ( ua-cam.com/video/bVKvO8zGB1s/v-deo.html ) and where can it be acquired?
That is an old Warhammer Quest (1995) supplement sent to me by a friend years ago. I’m afraid I don’t know how to acquire one.

This is mentioned right at the beginning of the video: it’s from King’s Bounty.
Słaby materiał. Dużo offtopu zamiast pokazać jak grać w Black Hack solo
