Blown glass has seen a revival over the past few decades. It's almost instant gratification. I wish leaded glass wasn't a dying art. I used to do a lot of repair and restoration of stained and leaded glass in my father's footsteps. Of the four generations of Glaziers only my father and my son are capable of commercial and art glass. My grandfather was part of the group that built the Empire State Building.

See, I'm actually born in this city. What's funny about this is I lost my house here in New York and I was forced to move so we moved to a trailer from our 2500sqft house. About 2 years later I passed out and woke up to see this, which kinda made me sad because I missed going to school to come to the museum to see the obsidian, history of the importance of glass, and how they make things like the rose truck in the building and the glass dress.
