Any tips on how to diagnose a bad injector or what to look for? My 12-year-old son builds Legos and could have taken that apart and put it back together I was looking for a diagnostic video
I work with a guy who has this motor in his dump truck. He says the jakes quit working can those be tested with 12 v positive at the head like a cat 3306?

Black smoke isn't always just a bad injector but yes that's where you want to head is into the injectors you should find your problem along the way. Be sure to compression test when you have them out! Cuz you're right there when you pull the injectors out. You need an adaptor for e-tech engines to perform the compression test. Apex tools offers it for $100
Yes, put 6 new injectors in it and 6 new EUP pumps and a new turbo. That's where any of your power loss would come from. Chances are you have a bad turbo cuz diesel engines are gutless without a turbo
@@keepontruckinoutlawlife1248 first make sure it's not the oil pressure sensor that communicates with the ecm, replace it is cheap. Then, while running, crack the turbo oil feed hose at the turbo and see if it's pushing any oil out or tap into an oil galley and hook a gauge up. It's elementary really
I have a 02 mack vision sleeper truck runs but shuts down because it's reading no oil pressure I changed the oil pump as well as the oil sensor any advice would be very useful and appreciated.

I hope nobody watches this and puts theirs back together like this. If you watch when he takes it out you can clearly see where the fire ring is located. Further more if he really thinks that is how it goes rather he took it apart or not he has no business taking injectors apart, much less trying to show anyone else how to do it.
I worked for Mack for 40 years on engines and injection pumps. I have never seen a more incorrect injector video. Terminology and procedures were all wrong. Sorry.

They are 13mm i take care of an entire fleet of Mack E7 E-tech engines and have been under the valve covers many times

Is it the same for 3216 engine? I have one that's smoking real bad and I am being told it is because of bad injectors.
They are different but the concept is the same.

Sometimes some of the nuzzle don't pull out easily , because of carbon or impurities
