Some people do this even I even with trading cards. Something like a new car smell it’s new card smell. Smells pleasing and satisfying in a sense. I sometimes do this with yugioh cards if it’s a pack I’m really looking forward to get.

@@antipathywif you slow the video down and zoom in, that is called edge gilding or, solid coloured edges! It’s basically what they do with some fancy books where the edges are already coloured, when captured by light it looks like it is glowing hence why it looks like fire. Your welcome.
