Very good Well Mannered review. Got a little ahead of yourself but rescued it. From what I have been told the knife in front from an angle will appear bigger. Really only matters when knives are very close in size. The size comparisons are never that important to me. 1 or 2 knives gives me the idea if inch mat isn't used. Looks like a good gentleman carry or if dressed in suit carry. Elmax seems overkill for that use but I guess they hope you will carry it camping for some reason. Hope it has filled that void in your heart.
Thank you Rick, much appreciated! Yeah, hahaha, got myself a little out of order for a minute there. It's definitely a very nice gentleman's carry. Elmax is tough for sure, but I won't complain not having to sharpen it too often. All the best Rick!
I also bought this knife. I have to say the opening and closing action on this knife is incredible. It takes zero effort to open this knife. Just slide your finger across the flipper tab and it opens. Easy Peezy. I ended up selling it because it was a little too small for me, but for someone who works in an office this knife would be incredible. I replaced the IQ with the Drift.
Looks like a very nice knife. My go-to slim, titanium flipper is the ZT 0450. But this Quiet Carry IQ checks a lot of boxes for me - thanks for showing! Enjoy it!
Thanks my friend! Yeah this one feels bigger in hand than it looks on paper in my opinion. I'd really like to try out the Chase and maybe the Waypoint, but the price on the Waypoint seems quite high. Appreciate you checking out the review!! Take care!
To be honest, I wasn't sure about it either when I ordered it... but it's really a great knife. Discreet, well made with good materials and I dig the looks. Appreciate you checking out the review.
Hello. Very nice. I have à Solognac with that exact blade. Mine is a button lock with black scales. A very useful blade. Only problem with mine is a crappy 5cr15 steel. Ok if i strop every day. Lol. All the best.
So I note in the the review, the 0.9" blade stock, yeah, um no, that would make this a steel girder, not a pocketknife. I meant to say 0.09", that's a bit more reasonable. Ha! Sorry about that.
I absolutely do not get blade play when open or closed and it should definitely bother you, it would be a no go for me. I'd contact Quiet Carry about a swap. Sorry you got a bum one.
No doubt that the Quiet Carry IQ is a good looking little EDC folder, but it just doesn't do it for me. The MBK-EZC that you mentioned however does trip my trigger and thanks to a certain Mild Mannered individual, I own a Version 1 of the EZC that fills the bill of a gentleman's EDC knife quite nicely 😊.
Yes, size comparison is useless because of perspective issues with the camera being angled. You can easily fix by holding a knife in each hand in front of the camera to show side by side.
Hahaha! Nice snag!! That's a good price for one in 20cv! Let me know what you think after you get it. It's a great EDC. Thanks for checking out the video.
It has a gum foil shine to it on camera. This one is not for me. I prefer their other styles like the Chase and the Strand or even the blacked Ti and carbon fiber version, but I’ve never held one so what do I know. 🤷🏽♂️ It’ll be cool to get some custom work done. I think the Stassafied accents will really pop on that. You’ve got to share if you do it.
That's actually a great description of the look. I hear ya on preference, to each their own on looks and feel, this is the first Quiet Carry I've owned. The Chase does look good to me as well. Yeah, I've already got the clip on its way to Stassa! I'll he sure to fo a quick follow up when I get it back. Thanks for watching man!
Love it. Classic beauty. Thanks for sharing this little beauty.
I'm in love with the Handle Milling!! I love the feel of Pin Striped milling done on Titanium!
That is one sweet knife, definitely a gentleman's knife. Thanks!
Very cool knife, big fan of all quiet Carry's work

Extremely sleek!! I fight with framelocks too much and have sworn them off. HOWEVER...It seems like this one unlocks rather easily. Good review man!

Very nice little edc. Definitely needs a little pop of color and stassa does awesome work. Great review 👍
I agree on the pop of color!! Thanks for checking out the review. It's a cool EDC blade.
Minimalist beauty
Agreed, definitely a clean well executed knife. Hope you are well Erik, thanks for watching!
Another great video. Great company. I love the Waypoint. Small for me but well made.
I've got the same IQ in cpm20cv. How did the clip turnout or did you even get it done?
Great video video dude I dig your logo too
never heard of this brand before. good review.
do you know of any kershaw ember sized/look that have a cleaver styled blade?
Great review. I think it will be a little small for me. I do want to check out a Quiet Carry at some point. They are intriguing.

I like the Waypoint a bit better, but The IQ looks sweet too. Haven't handled any, but the Quietcarry designs are nice all around.
When i 1st saw i i wasn't sure about it, but I think I really like it
Ps, I love a "worn look"

Lol i picked up on that but knew what u meant
Do you get blade play when closed, i.e. blade has room to jiggle between the detent and stop pin? can't tell if this should bother me or not
I absolutely do not get blade play when open or closed and it should definitely bother you, it would be a no go for me. I'd contact Quiet Carry about a swap. Sorry you got a bum one.
looks almost gentlemen like. cool looking 😎

Damnit. You sold me. Just pulled the trigger on a second hand one in 20cb for 160

I sort of want one!?
Love this knife. For my work, this is an ideal carry. Plus I really like Elmax! Thanks for watching!

I want that delica
Back to the video
Where can i buy it?
The Quiet Carry website quietcarry.com/collections/the-iq
Hope that helps. Thanks for watching.
Funny. Before you started speaking, I said to myself, “I’d own this knife if I didn’t already own an EZC.”
Good review, but I'm not sure it's a $200 knife to me. I do really like it tho
Thanks. Yeah it's a little on the boutique side price wise.
Can you confirm this is made in China and not Taiwan? Thank you.
All current models are made in Taiwan. Earlier models were made in China. That is my understanding.
Simple but beautiful. Gives me the fizz 😅
