Getting ready to make my first knife purchase and found this video super helpful. Thanks for the explanation on the models just referencing the finishes
Thank you for the well-paced, informative review. I just purchased the Tactile Bexar, hoping to purchase the QC IQ later, allowing time between the big purchases, and also due to the fact that I could not make a decision on the specific model IQ I wanted to purchase. I would settle on the carbon fiber inlay and then would be drawn to the way the knurled titanium would catch the light and then be drawn to the understated blacked-out knurled scales. They all look fantastic. I also love the way that the knifemaker listened to the earlier reviews and made improvements to the fabrication. I wouldn't be surprised if he sent an email to the factory about the sanding of the carbon fiber and sharpening issues that you mentioned in this video.
$200 for a Taiwan made small pocket folder should not have a rough screw edge ow hole. I’d send that back for a replacement knife the minute i tool it out of the box. Nice review, that’s the exact version I’m looking at. I was wondering how it really looked, if it was as classy as the smooth titanium.
I really like your sense of humor. Thanks for showing us some knifes! The more I collect knifes, the less I care about steels and the more I care about pocket carry and ergonomics. Do you have a favorite feeling knife in the hand?

Great insight regarding the bevel angle on the coated blade.

Love the inclusion of pocket calculator size comparo. Nice.
Great review! I’ve always thought the IQ looked nice but never pulled the trigger.

Appreciate the video and review. I've been mulling which version of the IQ I want, the Carbon or the Black Knurled.
