thank u! yeah watching it fill out has been so fun, i recommend doing this if you want a new plant but dont have the room or dont want to spend the money haha
I like how you actually talk about how you grow your plants and the pots they are in… this is totally my vibe and IMO so much more enjoyable than all the people on youtube who have a plant inventory instead of an aesthetic indoor plantscape! Love it
thank u! ive definitely been guilty of collecting plants just to have them, but recently i’ve been trying to curate my collection more to only those that i love
Hi Benji. Just letting you know that I bought an Anubias nana pinto yesterday because of you. :) I’m also into plant collecting and aquascaping. You’re like a younger male version of me, I feel like!
I am currently in love with Alocasias! I dream to get 1. Sarian 2. Baginda 3. Cuprea 4. Melo 5. Longiloba 6. Tigrina Superba 7. Triangularis 8. Stingray 9. Bambino 10. New Guinea Gold
What I like about your plant channel that differs from others, is that ALL OF YOUR PLANTS ARE HEALTHY! There were no dead leaves to pull off to show the hidden beauty underneath. No sir, your plants suffer no neglect and therefor they love you as much as you love them! Excellent. PS. Hope all went well on your finals!
Early in the morning before doing my duty..as grand mam..mam n lecture..I like wacthing your video n plants...beautiful ...n make me happy...thank ' s benji
I really like your channel and all your plants are so beautiful! Have you ever had a plant not do well or die on you? It seems like so many plant channels never show the plants that aren't doing well. Sometimes it would be nice to see how it is in real life so that we all don't feel so bad when our plants don't look perfect all the time. IMHO
Hello Benji. Your plants are incredibly beautiful and some so unusual. I've been an avid play t lover for many years, love house plants and philodendrons. I didn't know to plant some of these in moss. ???? Wow. No wonder mine never looked as nice as yours. Love your videos.
i NEED an avocado plant. i want to do one with my mom (she’s into plants in water ig) it is so cute and the fact it’s an avocado just makes it so much better lol.
I know I'm not him, but I highly suggest using worm castings (aka worm poop.) It's natural, highly effective, and it's near impossible to give your plant fertilizer burn. It distributes evenly over time as well. My plants love the stuff. 1 bag lasts forever because I only need to use 1-3 tbsp every month or every other month depending on the plant. Hope this helps. :)
I love the Alocasia Frydek! But I tried searching it but the one in google is different. Idk. it's more darkish and velvetty and not shiny? Or is yours still small that's why??
Hi Benji! I have some plants on Spagnumm as well. I was wondering, how you keep the moist in the cup without rotting? I have drainage holes in the cups but if I just pour some water in I think it's too wet for my plants and cutting. Now I take the cuttings out of the cup every two days and wet the moss again, squeeze out the excess water and put it back in the cup. They are in my greenhouse cabinet but they are just dry every two days. The humidity is around 70% there. Can you tell me how you water it? As example the Frydek?
i'm curious to know what companion plants you have in with your asparagus fern. i have a large one and want to plant below it but can't decide what plants would go well with it. do you have any suggestions?
@@emilyray75 i usually water them every 2 days or when the soil looks dry mist them with light warm water i have a east facing window so i keep it shut and at 2 pm i open the curtains back again yet nothing is happening
i plant mine in sphagnum moss or pumice and they do really well for me. I haven't had good experience with them in soil so I recommend trying other mediums if you can
the stuff on my terra cotta pot is just mineral deposits. but i have had instances where i get mold and i just wipe it off with a paper towel. i’m not recommending this, but i once sprayed window cleaner on a paper towel before i wiped off the mold and it never came back lol
@@benjiplant window cleaner😅 i have that idea once but never do it, now i know it worked🤣 i love the aged teracotta look but my mom made me clean the pots coz i hv asthma😅
i would recommend to do it once a month but tbh i’ve been lacking lately. i haven’t flushed my plants in over 2 months, but i think calatheas are more sensitive to mineral build up. not sure if this is true, just what i’ve heard. to be safe i’d flush once a month
they're slightly different, but verrrry similar. I got the squamicaule because it was cheaper lol. I can't remember the specifics, but i think their leaf shape is slightly different?
Gosh, your plants look so happy! I can tell that you’re a fantastic plant dad :)
gays are the best plant dad duh :)
The vibes are immaculate
i think my favorite is the philodendron and pothos mix, the colours and collection of it all is so cute and the pot really compliments all of it!

Hey, can you tell us (in youtube or tiktok) what is the best plant to grow for a starters or a newbie. 😅
The easy one and pretty one, that will be great.
Where do you get your alocasia bulbs

Can you make a video on asparagus ferns? Ive had my asparagus fern for 4 months and nothing has happened no new leaves and keeps turning yellow
They like consistent moisture, lower light, indirect is best. Fast draining soil and prefer a higher humidity environment

How often do you flush the pumice? Switching all my plants to pumice ( Calatheas ).
i would recommend to do it once a month but tbh i’ve been lacking lately. i haven’t flushed my plants in over 2 months, but i think calatheas are more sensitive to mineral build up. not sure if this is true, just what i’ve heard. to be safe i’d flush once a month
Do you have your AC on most of the time?
What is the difference between a squamicaule and serpens? Or are they the same variety but just different use of name?
they're slightly different, but verrrry similar. I got the squamicaule because it was cheaper lol. I can't remember the specifics, but i think their leaf shape is slightly different?
