the thing about Noam Chomsky is that I keep seeing him speak in front of audiences who already see eye to eye with him. That's nice but if he's going to make a bigger difference he needs to talk directly to the Rush Limbaugh crowd way way more.

The whole last part of this specific talk is all about "Neo-Liberal Globalization" and Adam Smith's "Masters of Mankind", AKA the global economic elite, the exact people you are saying he said nothing about. Nations are still important as the application of significant military force still requires the armies of Nation States, so it's not at all surprising that discussion of the applications of that force would center on Nations.
