- This is a video roundup of electric bikes I spotted at Burning Man 2015 in Black Rock City Nevada. In addition to ebikes there are also some light electric vehicles like electric skateboards, electric scooters, segways and some three wheeled and custom transports. Desert riding would be so much fun! Especially with the fat wheel electric bikes.
+Rotormatic Yeah, it's really amazing... Even a normal bicycle works well but the fat bikes + electricity is awesome! I saw a lot of Pedego Trail Trackers, a Felt LEBOWSKe and a few Sondors Ebikes in addition to kits and custom stuff :)

+Mario.heidegger Ahh, got it... No, it's more of an art/camping thing where people head out into the desert for a week and build interesting things. There is no money allowed (everyone trades or gifts) and at the end they burn some of the largest art structures, namely "the man" which is at the center. +ForbinColossus My guess is Court may have been too *stoned* to hold the camera steady. Even with that gyro stabilized setup he has. LOL!
+Rotormatic Hahaha... oh man, I was definitely offered a lot of drugs! Didn't really partake, Burning Man is the sort of place you could get lost and dry up, fall off a large structure or catch on fire so I kept my wits about me ;) also, didn't want to wreck my camera gear or get flagged for copyright infringement since music is happening all the time everywhere.
+ForbinColossus Skipped video based on wanting my gear to work for Interbike and concern about nudity, copyright infringement on audio and just not wanting to carry it around... No pockets to put your camera in when you're COMPLETELY NAKED!!! :P
ElectricBikeReview.com Have you tried both naked on the playa and a toolbelt? I think clothes were invented just to have pockets
+ForbinColossus Dude! A friend did give me a toolbelt and I did go naked for a moment on the playa but was concerned about sunburn on my... sensitive bits. Maybe next time I'll bring an umbrella and rock the tool belt hard core! I could even put clothes in the tool belt just to be ironic (or in case of police intervention).

Ban the electric powered bikes , skateboards ect.
The pedal powered bike rules! It provides great exercise.
It is also much less dangerous to those around it.
+jd dr.jkindle That's a good point... I didn't see much reckless riding but the mix of alcohol, drugs and lack of sleep could lead to some accidents (which powered vehicles could make worse). I've found that ebikes can still offer great exercise, they have pedals and gears usually... just help you go further or fight the wind etc.

I was a Burning Man '2015 BRC EMT-Medic and treated many bike related injuries.
Will be back for '2016.
burning man...looks like dress like shit fest. Or, I'm creative...not ,fest
